    Excellent! I had just emailed you guys about this formula in the Creat cosmetic formula dashboard and now I get to see it in action! I understand the water soluble extract portion now much better. As always, really great instruction!

    Great content. Thank you.
    Can you use sucragel xl to create a balm to milky cleanser? Also, do you provide private formulation service for existing brand? Thank you!

    Hi Belinda it's amazing to hear cosmetic science skills from you Thanks.. Can we use any w/o Emulsifiers instead of aracel.??

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401

      Yes you can - just use a similar proportion depending on the strength of the emulsifying action.

    Hello ms, Belinda.
    I want to ask something.
    1. Can i replace Arlacel 1689 with Polysorbate 80/20?
    2. Can i replace Lamesoft PO65 with just Coco Glucoside or Decyl Glucoside?
    Thank you so much ♥️✨

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Bonnie, no - the arlacel is low HLB, so you need to use another liquid low HLB material if not the arlacel; and the lamesoft is superfatting so much softer than the coco or decyl glucoside. Please replace with a superfatting agent. You might also like this program, it provides alternatives for this type of formula: createcosmeticformulas.com/Cosmeticformulas/Cosmeticformulas-894/Makeskincareandhaircareformulas-900/ Happy formulating!

    Hi Belinda thanks for this as always. I have a question and a request:
    1. Can you use the arlacel 1689 in a face oil to incorporate water soluble extracts? ie rosehip oil and you have water soluble extract gotu kola?
    2. Can you please explain difference between a cleansing balm and a gel to milk cleanser? (They look the same to me
    3. Have you heard of sapogel? It’s meant to be easier than sucragel

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Joy, in answer to your questions: 1. Yes you can; 2. the gel to milk is made using sucragel or sapogel - special materials; 3. yes sapogel is good I'm a fan of both but they make oily gels that turn to milk, different to what I have in this video. I have a special sucragel video coming out shortly. I've got the sapogel in this video: th-cam.com/video/sLmzo_sl9a0/w-d-xo.html

    Hi Belinda, thank you so much for a wonderful video demo!
    I created my cleansing oil formula using the createcosmeticformula but my A phase seperates from B phase (I have thick foamy layer above oil layer). Is there a way to fix it?

      Its glyceryl stearate - the low HLB material, not to be confused with glyceryl stearate citrate or glyceryl stearate SE. Happy formulating!

    Ho Belinda.. Greta video. Can you please make cleansing travel wipes which foam by adding water. Thank you

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are you able to source the packaging with the wipes in there? That packaging is actually the biggest issue for small brands, if you can source good suppliers please email us: info@personalcarescience.com.au as that is what is holding me back from making that kind of video.

    • @malucamalucaa2346
      @malucamalucaa2346 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Belinda.. I was able to finally remember the brand. It is olay water activated dry cleansing cloths. www.olay.com/en-us/skin-care-products/olay-daily-hydrating-clean-daily-facials. The packaging is exactly the same as wet cleansing cloths. Since they are dry cloths, not sure whether the packaging makes a difference. In this case.
      Thanks very much

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically, its water! When you add water to these formulas, it turns it into an emulsion, which is a milky looking solution. Please email us for full formulation details: info@personalcarescience.com.au
