Hi Anne Marie, i love watching your videos, just wondering if you have a liquid soap recipe made with goats milk. Any reciepes made with goat milk. I have your milk soap book and its fantastic but im looking at making other products with goats milk and would love your advice and recipes on this. Thanks for uour time
Hi Crissy, thank you so much! We don't currently have a liquid soap recipe with goat's milk but we have some melt-and-pour and cold process projects with goat's milk. They can be found here: www.brambleberry.com/search?q=goat+milk+project&lang=default
The full recipe and ingredients list can be found on our website: www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects/projects/skincare/chamomile-cleansing-balm-project/PS000354.html
Do not order from these people. I placed an order last week and still haven't even received an order acknowledgement. Google "brambleberry reviews" and you'll find tons of other people with the same experience.
We don't have much experience with using tallow in skincare so you would want to make a small test batch to ensure it performs well and holds together as expected.
My skin loves Almond oil--is this a recipe that I can use almond oil instead of avocado oil? I'm new to at-home skin care and I'm not sure if almond oil is considered "light weight"
I want to start making soap but how do you make a recipe and can you use just one recipe for all different kinds of fragrances and colours. Thank you 😊
We recommend starting with one of our Quick Mix recipes. They are formulated to work with all sorts of fragrances, colors, and designs! www.brambleberry.com/articles/ingredient-information/art0027-all-about-quick-mixes.html
This recipe would be a bit soft for a lip balm. You could substitute the emulsifying wax for beeswax or other hard wax and add a little bit of a soft butter to give the balm a more firm and moisturizing texture.
Hi ,, I have a question if in cold process soap we add 50%coconut oil ,40 % olive oil and 5 to 10 %almond oil cuz in my country there's no palm oil ,shae butter all those stuff please guide
We have an awesome article all about how to formulate your own cold process soap recipe, here's the link: www.brambleberry.com/how-to/soap/art0025-formulating-cold-process-soap-recipes.html
Im going to treat this like oil cleansing and use my oils for that. 2 parts oil of choice + 1 part castor oil. I think it’ll clean better because of the castor oil.
Geogard 221 is not a substitute for Polysorbate 80. You can substitute Polysorbate 20, a blend of Turkey Red Oil and Guar Gum, or Bio-Mulsion Wax instead. Keep in mind that these swaps will change the feel and consistency of your final recipe.
The combination of the emulsifying wax and polysorbate 80 helps the Chamomile Cleansing Balm rinse off nicely. Vegan butters would be moisturizing and would cause the balm to act more like a moisturizer than a cleanser.
An emulsifying wax is a completely different thing than vegan butters (btw beeswax isn’t vegan…). An emulsifying wax emulsifies while butters do not. So if you were to use a butter in place of the emulsifying wax then your product would not become emulsified when you use water to rinse it off your skin aka it would stay on your skin like a moisturizer (because you would just be adding straight up oil on your skin) instead of coming off easily like a cleansing balm should.
We currently do not offer any online courses. We do have many articles and projects on our website that are great for beginners! www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects
Thank you for letting us know! Here's the link for the Chamomile Cleansing Balm Project: www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects/projects/skincare/chamomile-cleansing-balm-project/PS000354.html#q=chamomile&lang=default&start=1
How is it a dupe when it doesn’t even have similar ingredients? I have a feeling you are just saying that because it’s a cleansing balm and you think every cleansing balm is a dupe for this “clean it zero” product. That would be my guess because I can’t see the resemblance. This is just a regular, simple cleansing balm of their own creation. Not a dupe for anything.
While it's based on a popular cleansing balm, our recipe was created and tested in house. This recipe has only a few ingredients to keep it simple and easy but effective.
Such a fun idea! We will definitely look into creating something like that for a future video. In the meantime, we suggest checking out our Coffee Lip Scrub recipe, it smells great and is a wonderful exfoliator for the lips and face: www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects/projects/cosmetics/coffee-lip-scrub-project/PS000306.html
For this particular recipe we have not found a substitute that works as well as polysorbate 80. That ingredient is added to make washing off the balm very easy.
Love Bramble Berry videos. I wish more were available on regular basis.

I love bramble berry 😢
I sometimes browse your website just for fun even if I'm not buying 😊
Yayyyyyyy!!!!! How did I not see this when y'all posted months ago?! 🎉❤🎉
I really like this. Sometimes I get it in my eyes and they are blurry for just a bit, but it will literally melt your makeup off!
Lovely balm, love those jars. Thank you for sharing.
You look so pretty today🤗👍👍💕
Awesome recipe Brambleberry! Works great!
Glad you like it!
Looks nice and those are great jars!
Excited to try this!
Hope you like it! It is such a wonderful recipe!

Hi thank you for the formula ❤and could you please add the percentages or weight of the ingredients pleaase i would love to give it a try ! 😢

I would love percentages to be available for these recipes, otherwise it is quite difficult to scale down and make just one Jar to try it out!
68.14% Avocado Oil
17.05% E.Wax
4.9% Oil Soluble Chamomile Extract
1.3% Fragrance
7.31% Ploysorbate-80
1.3% Optiphen
@@lafasviewthank you for converting everything to percents 💕😤
Thanks for the video. I would like to kno since we using an emulsifying wax can we use a water soluble chamomile extract?
Absolutely! The emulsifying wax will allow you to use water soluble and oil soluble ingredients in your recipe.
Would it be possible to incorporate beef tallow into this recipe? thank you in advance!
We don't have much experience with using tallow in skincare so you would want to make a small test batch to ensure it performs well and holds together as expected.
@@bramble-berry Thank you for your reply!
Can i add a body butter in the oil phase? Will it change the effect and texture?
Yes, it will make the texture much thicker and difficult to scoop out of the jar.
My skin loves Almond oil--is this a recipe that I can use almond oil instead of avocado oil? I'm new to at-home skin care and I'm not sure if almond oil is considered "light weight"
Absolutely, if you would rather use sweet almond oil that would be an acceptable substitute for the avocado oil.
Can you formulate one with some gentle surfactants in it so that it has extra cleansing abilities?
Thanks for the idea, we will look into creating a recipe from this suggestion!
What type of Emulsifying Wax are you using in this recipe? Can I use BTMS50 or cetyl alcohol?
Its emulsifying wax NF. BTMS and cetyl alcohol would not be the best replacements as they will change the consistency of the final product.
Do you have 1 on 1 meetings to formulate a skincare product that is tailored to that person’s skin type?
We do not offer formulation classes at this time.
Maybe this ? Is for another video, if I use a flavor oil and left out poly can I use this as a lip balm
This recipe would be a bit soft for a lip balm. You could substitute the emulsifying wax for beeswax or other hard wax and add a little bit of a soft butter to give the balm a more firm and moisturizing texture.
@@bramble-berry thank you, I’m still going to make the balm as is but now I get to play :) thank you so much for your wonderful products ❤️

Can I use the oils that I use on my skin currently in this recipe instead of your oils?
You're welcome to substitute oils in this recipe, some of our favorite swaps for avocado oil are chia seed oil or sweet almond oil.
Im going to treat this like oil cleansing and use my oils for that. 2 parts oil of choice + 1 part castor oil. I think it’ll clean better because of the castor oil.
Can i use this cleansing balm safely for eye makeup ( eyeshadow or mascara)
The ingredients in this recipe are not all eye safe so we would not recommend it for removing eye makeup.
Lovely project ❤
Do you have delivery service to the UK?
Thank you! Yes we do 💜
If I decrease the liquid oil by 5%, should I increase emulsifying was by 5%?
Yes, that would be create a more solid balm.
Thanks for replying me!! @@bramble-berry
Can I substitute the Polysorbate 80 for Geogard 221?

What about the emulsifying wax? Is it like hard oils?
Emulsifying wax is going to be a hard pellet and needs to be melted and heated with the rest of your oils.
What’s the difference between using emulsifying wax or vegan butters like shea butter, or beeswax or any vegan wax
Can I replace optiphen with phenonip
Polysorbate can inactivate phenonip so we do not recommend making that substitution in this recipe.
Is there any online course for learning?
We currently do not offer any online courses. We do have many articles and projects on our website that are great for beginners! www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects
Can i use lanet 16 instead of e wax??
We haven't tested lanet 16, but if you test it out, we'd love to hear how it goes!
The link for the recipe does not work

I know she can't say the name, but my guess would be that this is a dupe for "Clean It Zero," which is an awesome product. (But also pricey.)

is there an alternate to using polysorbate 80?
