Thanks for the comment and kind words. I plan to do more nickel plating as time permits and hopefully it will go quicker. I have a 70-1/2 router plane and number 17 block plane which the nickel plating is the star of the show. If I only had more time. Thanks again.
You're welcome. I don't intend to use this guy because it looks so good and the wonky knuckle joint mechanism seems a bit fragile. I do smile every time my eyes land on it, however. I'm scoping out a similar job on a #17 and I have a 70-1/2 router plane that could use a fresh nickel plate. Cheers.
Thanks for the comment. Yes that copper really looked sharp. It tarnishes very quickly, however and it's not very tough. I'm thinking I might do it to some future block plane, using spray lacquer or something to protect it. It's something I'll have to keep my eye out for.

Awesome video. The 18s a great user. I really like the look of the copper.
