The ones who are in the army right now are the ones getting their training. We don't fight with those guys, but with the ones who have already gotten their training, meaning the 900k reservists. I am one of them. In a conscript army you have to look at the wartime reserves to know the full strenght, not the "active" soldiers in the barracks right now, like with professional armies.

Estonia just got half of Europes genetics mixed into their genepool over ca last 1000 years while Finland watched in horror over the 88km wide Gulf of Finland. Culturally estonians and finnish are still very very close.
Estonians are basically what happened to the finno-ugric people that decided to go left instead of right on a crossroads in somewhere around what is now St. Petersburg, when migrating from the east to west.

The thing is that Estonia isn't Baltic, only in the sense that Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Poland etc are - we are on the shores of the Baltic Sea. Only Lithuania and Latvia are linguistically and culturally Baltic, so it is very confusing, especially for foreigners. Estonia is linguistically and culturally Finnic, like Finland. These two are literally the only free Finnic countries in the world and it makes zero sense that both are separated internationally into different regions. The most logical step would be a separate Finnic region but adding Estonia to the Nordic region would do too since Nordic is a pretty politically neutral term.
Just be sure you take lessons before trying to ski/snowboard, Drew. And only tackle the easier slopes until you're more experienced. Hope you get the chance and have fun when you do!

Drew it will take you a whole winter season to simply ride down a hill snowboarding. Skiing is easier to learn but harder to master in terms of simply riding so… it’s up to you. But you wo t learn in one day, nor will you learn in two. You will fall on your butt and hurt yourself a few times before you can even do the simplest of techniques. Good luck!
