I love how Noktis befriended Cecil of all the FF characters, as my two favorite FF's are XV and IV.
Well they've both been hardened through tragedy, Noctis from losing both his father, his fiance, and his home because of Divine Providence, and Cecil because his adopted father and his older brother were manipulated by some weird moon guy and Cecil was forced to participate in the attempted genocide of the summoner clan (anyone else seeing some parallels between Cecil Harvey and Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, or is it just me?)
It makes sense. Noctis and Cecil become kings by the end of their games.
@Naruxos07 well, Noct dies sadly because of a prophecy, he doesn't really get a chance to be a king

Potential heir to the throne, captain of the red wings and a master at the blade, still caring even as his soul corrupts cause of his actions as a dark knight. And doesn't immediately fold to the bad guys over her. How could she not marry Cecil lol
I can only imagine WoL in smash my favorite character of all Final Fantasy.

@@megakazuya123 he is different from link, many charcters in smash wields sword and shield like the dragon quest characters but they have different skillsets...you cannot understimate the man who defeated the master of time and space
FFXIV make me look WoL in different way...
Stoic he may be, but there will never be warrior who's heart and resolve are as strong as pure orichalcum.

It's amazing that not only does George Newbern voices the WoL, but Sephiroth as well. Dude's got some major vocal range under his belt!

@@RainbowEssence-c3w he is the adopted son of a King at the beginning of the game and is presumably his heir. So when the King died Cecil would inherit the throne.
@@RainbowEssence-c3w In the sequel, FF4 The After Years, 17 years after the original game's timeline, Cecil is the ruler of Baron alongside Rosa.
@@pedrogomes693 Ah, I see, thank you for telling me. Truth be told, although FF4 is one of my favorite Final Fantasys and will always hold a special place in my heart as a part of my childhood, I never actually beat the game lol.
Noctis is the most "normally" dressed character and the most human. Everyone else is like, "Cosplay!" It's fascinating XD
I am sure if we jump 1000 years back or forward in time, we would look like cosplayers too, to them. Maybe what is cosplay and what is not is point of view :).

Goddammit I adore Cecil because omg nostalgia and also they made him hot! But at the same time time he looks ridiculous next to Noctis who's dressed casually and like a real person lol. Same with the WoL.
I used to think noctis was a little over dressed until now
I'm of the ones that prefers the old school pretty boys designs like Cecil and WoL. They look more "fantastic" and impressive to me, a lot of details in their designs. I even find Cloud and Squall a little more interesting eventhough they are not as colorful, while I find noctis design kinda boring... :(

For some reason, Cloud, Yshtola and Lightning have their latest costumes in story but Cecil, Kain, Golbez and Yuna have their original costumes.

Seeing the first few landscaped in full 3D was amazing. All the backdrops in first were amazing but that specific one, oof, that was my favorite.
