I think I first discovered you on twitter by looking for phd/academia related accounts to follow, and then I also decided to follow you on youtube for the PhD content. I started properly using twitter like two months ago (my handle is CatharticOutlet) beacuse I was looking for a platform to post some of my art and vent about the PhD experience. While twitter is mainly just a way to keep myself entertained and procrastinate from work, recently, I've become a bit more ambitious, and am trying to see if I can grow the platform and use it for more serious science communication, which is why these videos are interesting for me. I am also thinking of starting TH-cam at some point for video essays on topics I am passionate about, but I don't know if I will ever find the time for that anytime soon... Anyway, I hope you will be able to continue successfully growing your platform in the future! It seems like you are on the right path.

Great question! Depends why they are the observer. If they are just shy or not used to engaging on Twitter, I would ask very simple questions and lead them to engaging with baby-steps. You can even start with "like this post if you agree". If they are strictly against engaging for whatever reason, I would not waste my energy on converting them.

There is no specific number of posts according to Twitter guideline. I'd go for quality over quantity (I personally do 2-3 per day), so that people actually interact with your posts
