Why would you spend so much money on a steamer and not use distilled water? I bought one myself and love how well it it cleans and how much steam it has I wouldn't risk it! I have had others start 9off good but each subsequent use they got less and less effective. A gallon of water is less than $1.25 a bargain considering the machine cost $200! But I'm glad you gave it a great review and your floor looks incredible.

Don't know about using distilled water for steamers...I have whole house water filter system...don't know if that makes a difference or not.
