The section on playing your own jungle, vs playing your offlane+triangle section was extremely valuable. I normally default to trying to play the offlane+triangle every game, regardles of my hero, enemy heroes, how my lane went. some games it works out and feels EZ, others it fails but I can't understand why. That feels dumb now, this gives me some great answers to why it was or wasn't a great idea, and more importantly things to look out for which strategy to use in the future.

I watched it in couple parts (went to do last hit practice for a good hour and then tried some of the farming patterns adjusted with the objectives mentioned in the video) and it quickly became one of my favourite dota 2 guide videos, absolutely amazing job i love this mix of basics and more advanced stuff!

    some additional stuff:
if you're a power threads user, remember to always change the attribute when needed to get more resources during lane stage and mid-game. Also make sure to set your hotkeys to make sure u can use all of your abilities, items, control groups etc. efficiently.

Have watched a few videos so far, and would say they're pretty decent. Just one comment, really appreciate you explaining the item builds based on landing phase.
But also want to add that magic stick is also helpful for magic enemy spammers regardless of magical damage. And example being to buy stick when landing against Bristleback, even though his second ability is a physical damage.

I was a league player for the most part of my life. My first experience with dota was back in the day, dota 1 og dota. Ever since league's account migration, I have lost literally EVERYTHING I owned! Thankfully, my wife introduced me to dota 2 and ngl it's still as messed up as league but somehow I feel much smarter playing it.
This video is such a great help as I am about to get into ranked and duo with my wife as a carry. Thank you so much for this guide! It's so well done and so insightful!

Didn't' finish yet but the training polygon reference was already super helpful to me, as a player with at least 10k games and still only Ancient after all these decades :D Thanks for posting this. I look forward to seeing the rest of this video and the rest of your content. People like BSJ and Speeed might have already filled a big niche, but it's always helpful to hear someone else's spin on coaching. Maybe it's the same idea, just in different words that clicks with people. I do the same thing with math and programming. My teacher is helpful to an extent, but there's always someone like you I find that really solidifies what was being taught initially. I hope you understand what I am saying :) I find this kind of stuff very helpful, so keep at it and great work!

hey man, thank you for such a great video, I learned a lot from this. I'm wondering if you can make another video explaining the macro of dota 2? Like explaining how a team should play a dota 2 match as a whole, not just any specific position. Some examples to include in the video would be: at what point should support move, where, what should carries do when support move, when to teamfight, when to do rosh, when to split push,... Like explaining each stage of the game and what should each position do at that stage to make a good dota 2 game. I know it is a big ask but I would highly appreciated if you can do it, im looking to get serious with dota. Thank you.

Great video, wonderful advice, but a few suggestions:
Do shorter takes with your audio. It's very audible when your voice is getting fatigued throughout this, and the shorter takes will both reduce the vocal strain and reduce the flubbed words, making it much easier to cut all the bits where you paused for breath, or a drink, or to gather your thoughts. This will help the edit flow a hundred times more easily and will make your life easier if you need to add in an addendum after the fact.
Add title cards to the bigger break sections so it's easier to skip around and the video is more polished and works more cohesively with the TH-cam skipping system for segments. It'll make your life easier when applying them too.
Do a vocal warm-up before you record, it'll loosen up your voice and you won't get as strained by a long recording session.
All in all though, great video.

Hero pool even if limited must have a diversed attributes because if you just have heroes with all late game timings you can be rolled over by uptempo team comp. The lower the rank the more you need to 1v9 by increasing your macro and hero match up knowledge (by playing more obviously).

I have a question. For the current meta 7.33... on BF carrys what components do you consider to get 1st. Cuz I have seen mostly Yatoro always get the new Cornuscopia ingredient even in a good lane without any current hp/mana issue. Mostly on his jugg games* Guess is for caution..? Besides the swords..give you more dmg so farm potential...

I spammed Luna and drow 1 year ago that makes me out from 4k to 5k and reached immortal, but I decided to play for fun and not that focusin to reach higher mmr, because I realized that ppl on high mmr was not fun as I thought and because of that mindset I'm stuck at 3k to 3.5k now trying multiply roles, from carry midlane offlane even supports, I tend to get flamed but come to think of it playin this game with certain limits make it fun to play. Now I'm legend 1 but without knowin that I'm ex-immortal player lol

Model O and 1400 DPI. Honestly, DPI and shit doesn't matter in Dota so don't waste mental energy on it, use whats comfortable
