- This is the first time we have been stopped at an open border on this trip, so it was bound to happen but when it does you dread what's coming next.
However, this was a very quick stop and we were then allowed on our way and into Poland and onto some very memorable parkups indeed.

What are we doing and why have we called this trip an EXPEDITION? The word Expedition is used in all our video titles as this word means "promptness or speed in doing something, with a particular purpose, especially that of exploration" and this fits in perfectly with our plan to not only stay out of the UK for as long as possible, but to sample each country we visit to see if we want to come back for longer in our future travels.

I love love love Poland! We were on the same route and were supposed to just drive trough Poland really fast, but it was so lovely that we changed all our plans and decided to do an "in-depth Poland-tour" instead of going further. So we toured every place in Poland from north to south, east to west. Loved the scenary, the beautiful nature, pretty little towns and a lot of wildlife. Poland is like miniature Europe with lakes and forest, fields and swamps, mountains and beaches. Great pirogi, nice people, awesome small local brewaries in every town... I have only good things to say about Poland. And yes, I've been to Poland many times after that :)
There is an old saying. You can leave Poland, but Poland will never leave your heart.

More places we have added to our list. 🎉My husband is a obsessed fisherman and intends to fish his way around Europe next year when we travel. So any tips on where to get licences, or top up on tackle and bait would be great in your Vlogs. Places to have tea/coffee for me to people watch also a bonus. Although I over your santa Vlog and now NEED to go there 🤣

Autumn is a lovely time travel if you don't mind it being cooler and the Colour of trees is stunning. A beautiful beautiful place to visit is Czestichwa cathedral

I went to Poland in 1961 as a 5 year old , the year the Berlin wall went up . I can still recall passing lorry loads of British soldiers on the way . We got waved at lots , probably due to our English registered Vauxhall Victor 959 EYE . We stayed on a farm for a month and also visited a public baths . Will go again one day . To give a travel vlog of this standard and quality 10/10 seems a bit mean but it was a really epic edition. Gold star quality as ever. Slick editing, good supporting music, great content captured from all angles. So we apologise for giving it ‘just’ 10/10 but it was that good and a level we all need to aspire to. Just caught up with your recent vlogs… amazing yet again. Wifey and I now retired ,sold up and heading out of UK early January final destination unknown possibly Portugal and will be opening new touring vlog if I can get my head around the editing malarkey .we will be on you tube under the guise of “The Boylees “ retired on tour. Who knows might cross paths along the way. Take care people stay safe.

I think your timing and travel route has been spot on. Just staying ahead of the winter weather.
It’s worked out perfectly so far, I think our need to slow down a bit will allow winter to catch up with us somewhat but we don’t mind so much 😁

Hey, I saw you drove to Olsztyn, that's my hometown, I was speechless when I recognised it. I was actually there when you were there to see my mum. I've been living in the UK for over 30 years and I just bought a motorhome last week. I'll be taking my Swift Toscan there next year. Did you go take a closer look at the castle? Superb video,stunning scenery, the thermal baths,seen interesting . Abroad they are so geared up for motor homes, we went out the other day, all car parks with height barriers, moaned to local council, standard reply. Enjoy
Hopefully things are changing in the UK.. I’ve seen a few good changes recently so 🤞🏻 it’ll spread. It really is like nothing you’ve seen over here, we’re still shocked by how many facilities you get and how well looked after they are

Hi there, here’s a little suggestion for you. How about developing an app to count how many days in and out of EU Shengan countries.
There are loads of apps already out there that do the job perfectly.. some are better than others but there’s a good choice out there 😁👍🏻

The van is not finished but I can make due. I got a puppy! She is a Jack Russell terrier, 5 months old. Everything all at once is difficult for me to process, but it's all going to be alright. Just in case you don’t have one, i recommend you get a carbon monoxide detector. Your using a gas heater so it would be a good precaution. Its a silent killer, odourless and tasteless. Also carbon monoxide is heavier than air so the detector should be mounted low on a wall.
Thanks Dennis, we do have a carbon monoxide detector and it’s checked regularly. It is higher up on the wall though as that is where it’s supposed to be. LPG leak detectors should be low to the ground though 😁👍🏻

J&M. Thanks for doing what 3 words but all your park ups are on Park for Night. I thought you said in your last video that you find them using Google maps?
We made a video about how we find our parkups, feel free to watch that. I’d say around 30% are on p4n too, but not always.
