If you thought the DJM400 was complex wait until you see the inside of a DJM800! These mixers are my specialty, sometimes it’s more beneficial to replace the entire fader assembly instead of cleaning with chemicals etc. Loved the video from start until end! Thanks :)
Hello Adam, yep I found the DJM damn complex... I mean, I had no clue before servicing it, it would actually digitize the analog sound before putting it out again as analog. Very sophisticated in my opinion. Mixing consoles are pretty rare stuff for me to work on; I did this one for a friend really; but it was interesting to do. I have a DJM-400 shows weak headphones output (the signal is clean at low level and distorted at high level). Do you know about this problem ? All others outputs are clean and headphone is OK.
