You're an inspiration, love what you do. Thank you for bringing us in. BTW could you add close caption,? Even though I am Jamaican, living away for a long time causes me not to understand what the guys are saying
Thank you for tuning in! Hahahahaa.. Closed Captioning on Gregory and Headley’s conversations are sure going to exhaust the video editing software…… But I will try! 🇯🇲
Yeah and it's basically acid rain but this time of year it normally scorches/ burns certain crops especially younger and short crops like pepper peas etc.
They sell something at the farm store that can help so make sure you get it and next time try to remember about it so you can be prepared and continue the great work
Oh ok, thanks.. I’ll be sure check for it. The actual effects of that I know of though, like scorching of leaves, didn’t take place this time, thankfully. What really had an affect was the volume of rain plus heavy wind in between. So it’s structural damage (Cho Cho Harbour and Greenhouse) that took place..
It's an annual event it starts around the 6th of June to about the 10th of June and it's dangerous for small crops like pepper tomatoes etc. and you can Google it the get the exact dates correctly
Yeah it starts late may to about the 10th of June and it's not usually a heavy shower it's in the night dew and that's what makes it dangerous for the crops
I've been trying to get the link too so I could share it with you but I'm not getting any information about it and it's strange because I've known about it since I was a child and I even googled it a few years ago and it mentioned what it does to small crops that ive mentioned before and the time of year etc.
Ok, yeah.. I did a search too but nothing apart from a Jamaica Observer article briefly mentioning it and citing no more than its effects. Someone else I spoke with says he thinks that the start date is towards the end of May and it runs into June…
Oh nice.. Starting week 2 after transplanting, I used Bio20 (10ml/Gallon), Phortify (30ml/Gallon), CalMax-B (10ml/Gallon), Cytokin (15ml/Gallon) as the weekly foliar application.. for about 4 weeks
Love it
You are doing an absolutely amazing job.
I look forward to the day when I scale up like this...awesome!

Beryl came through and cleared the field.
I hope the seven star water didn't effect you
How do u know when seven star water is coming?
Suffered further damage to an existing issue… but, could be so much worse.. taking it one day at a time as the Good Book teaches. How about you?
@@AliyaLee-j8jGood question. I think we need an old-timer to give us some wisdom on this!
