Looks delicious. My favorite one pot meal is sinigang. I add lots of vegetables to mine so it can be eaten on its own.

Looks real good. I like rabbit fried best. I also make BBQ with it. My favorite one pot meal (crock pot) is any type meat stew with potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, barley and lentils. I always put bacon in my green beans, potatoes and onions when I can them, bacon makes everything better 😉😉

I love the bacon idea! I now have to can something and put bacon in it. Why have I never thought of this?

I haven't had any rabbit for a long time but we used to always have rabbit for Sunday dinner instead of chicken like a lot of folks do because my dad didn't like to raise chickens grandma raised chickens and we got some eggs from them and I think occasionally some chicken meat and probably traded some rabbit meat with them. On any kind of recipe like this I change back and forth between mushroom soup celery soup cream of onion soup not French onion and cream of chicken. You make it the flavor you like with cream of celery soup and maybe just a little bit of minced onion or something dried would probably be just fine or any powder. But I do similar to this recipe a lot with multiple canned meat and change off the soups and just change out vegetables to what I have or what sounds good with it at the time. What we had growing up was a lot of slow baked chicken mom would put it in the oven with some butter and some seasoning on it sometimes a little flour and go to church and come back home and that part of the meal was made and then she just made gravy out of the drippings usually with some mashed potatoes

Yes so many things you can do with a chicken or rabbit that most people don't think of. I missed the Sunday Dinners at grandmas but my oldest daughter just started doing it.

Bacon is good in everything. My favorite one pot meal is Chicken and rice with mushrooms and onions. You start it on the stove and finish it in the oven.

Looks Delicious!! Our favorite one pot dish using rabbit would be.
add onions, bell pepper, celery, and garlic in butter and sauté about 5 mins, add the rabbit meat only, then a half cup in cooked rice, season with swamp mix or any Cajun flavor, pour rabbit juice and enough chicken broth to make a cup of liquid, bring to a boil, cover pot, turn to low low simmer for 20 mins, no peeking. Turn fire off and let rest 10 mins. It’s called rabbit jambalaya. 💕
