    I know you from your metal detecting videos, but am thrilled that you also are a mushroom forager and a cook. Two more things we have in common, Bill.

    • @ChillBill1
      @ChillBill1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ... it is probably 'a thing' If you detect how can you not forage... its so similar. :) In fact you have given me an idea. Mybe I need to expand mushroom hunting into foraging as I do that too.

    • @trolltaker
      @trolltaker 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChillBill1 The way that I look at it is that I am a finder. I used to geocache, which is finding hidden caches. I trout fish, which is finding trout. I forage for mushrooms and other goodies, and I metal detect... all "finding" activities.

    That looks absolutely delicious. 🤤 When I find that beautiful specimen of a mushroom that looks perfect in every way, I'll encase it in plaster of peris, bake the plaster till its dry then bring it up to 1300 celsius. Then I'll blow the ash out of the cavity left over and fill it with molten copper or aluminum. I've made some beautiful pieces of art with these mushrooms. I love these mushrooms so much. Not only are they delicious but they're beautiful to look at to. Mush Love Chill Bill. Thank you again for the great video. Be well friend🍻🍄🤎

      @@ChillBill1 I consider myself to be very blessed. Thanks to TH-cam and another mycology community that I'm a part of, I've been able to spread my ShroomDay art all over the world. So far I've sent two of my pieces to Japan, one to the UK, one to Australia and a few to a friend of mine in Canada. I've also given a bunch of them away to my friends here in the US. Unfortunately the season for mushroom picking is over here where I live but I'd be honored if you would allow me to send you one next season. Let me know if you're interested and you'll be at the top of my list for the next one I send out. Mush love Chill Bill. I appreciate you my friend 🍄❤️

    Hi Bill, just want to say that I'm a Forager here in Vermont, USA. I love mushrooms of all kinds. The season has really ended for the year, but if there is something that you can't get across the pond in your own, I'd be happy to help you with some that I can get here. Depending on the season. I'm so jealous that you can get truffles from your area and we can not.

    • @ChillBill1
      @ChillBill1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi RayLynn, where I forage they've an abundance of wild boar this year. That is heavy competition :) No commersial shipping of mushrooms is probably a no-no here but thanks.
