      You gotta understand too that most baseball fans are incredibly ignorant. Its why they boo former players for their team when they come up to bat, even if those players were traded away. The same goes for fans cheering when a batter gets beaned, or when someone's ejected arguing a strike in the dirt.

    Clayton Kershaw has excellent pinpoint control. So when Gurriel heard the whistle at the 14:13 he knew he could let it fly. Zero hesitation in his swing. It's beyond debate at this point since the Astros admitted it. If he doesn't cheat, the final score of this game would have been Dodgers 12 Astros 10 and the Dodgers are World Series Champs. Actually not so. If they hadn't cheated, it would have been Dodgers vs Yankees and that could have gone either way. Don't know if it's possible but they probably got cheated worse than we did.

      Go back and rewatch what happened, there was a replay before the Yuli atbat, the catcher never threw a sign because he had received it from the pitcher verbally. The whistle you hear, has nothing to do with a sign because the catcher never threw one, so your logic is flawed.

Kershaw struggles in the postseason, Jeff Weaver was an absolute STUD in the 2006 playoffs, including DOMINATING in the World Series clinching Game 5....8 innings, 1 earned run, 9 strikeouts...and beat Verlander. So what exactly do Kershaw and Weaver have in common....besides absolutely nothing? Learn the game, THEN post. Lastly...how can anybody know if Kershaw MAY have been cheated ???????????? • @PeekaPeep
      @PeekaPeep 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yup, it was the camera beyond the CF wall that they used at home to track the pitch signs the opposing battery were using which were then decoded by the coaching staff in the clubhouse and ultimately relayed to the dugout where via trash can, hidden buzzer under jersey, and/or charge whistle the Astros hitters at the plate now knew what to lay off and what to load up for on every count. Game 5 of the 2017 WS was the most blatant example of how far the Astros went to grab themselves a championship they did not truly earn on merit. Disgusting.

      people cried about the strike zone the entire postseason, just another reason that fox should get rid of the pointless inaccurate tv strike zone.. for one, the strike zone isn't a 2-dimensional square, its actually 3-dimensional box and the catchers glove isn't always indicative of where the ball crosses the plate. two, the camera angle skews any proper view of the strike zone for the tv audience since the tv camera cannot be directly behind the pitcher, the angle we see simply doesnt allow us to get a proper view of ball placement in relation to the strike zone. three, for the entire postseason, brooks baseball has rated the accuracy of the home plate umpires somewhere around high 90% correct balls/strike calls.

    • @fighttheclock3152
      @fighttheclock3152 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The strike zone is whatever the home plate umpire says it is. So long as its consistent on both sides nobody has a problem. But the strike zone on this night was NOT consistent and thats why people were ticked...I agree tho, the box is bullshit and I always prefer watching games without it. For baseball there should be no box, if an umpire gives a few inches on the corner nobody is going to complain so long as the corner is there all game. Hitters have to know where the strike zone is

      Puig has extremely strong wrists and has hit 1 handed home runs before... and the Crawford boxes are short enough to the point where most high school players could hit it out if they're right handed pull hitters (like ya know, most high school players are lol). Am I the only one who noticed during Springer's at bat, they had the close up camera to his face and he kept looking to the left before the pitch ever got to him. Are they giving him signs from Bullpen?
