I still remember the kid from 5 years ago who featured in Adam Savage's "Tested"; Seeing the "true" inner workings of what these kinds of animatronics look like and how they functioned is what inspired me to make my own robot based off Mitzi Mozzarella.
Last weekend I took my kids to Memphis to visit my sister for spring break. As it turns out, she lives across the street from where Showbiz Pizza was. I knew the building right off. It brought back so many memories and now this video was recommended to me today. I am blown away by your attention to detail, and watching these videos is so fun!
Wow I am GOBSMACKED by how passionate, dedicated, skilled and talented you are to set up all of Rockafire Explosion and even create the whole set! With your talented crew Ofcourse! These videos make me so inspired and so HAPPY, honestly....Even though I only discovered Rockafire just recently - to discover that they were actually at a family arcade center near me, only for them to be vandalised...and then sold off....and I never even got to see them perform!....And then hearing all about Chuck E Cheese removing and destroying the animatronics... (That's my childhood, leave em alone! 😭) Honestly I find it so depressing and maddening...But then when I discovered your channel, it gave me HOPE....Knowing there are fans out there setting UP these shows, taking CARE of and FIXING the bots, that makes me so happy to see that. There's hope for the future of animatronics with people like you around 😃 It looks AMAZING, can't wait to see the final product!! 😃
at first glance these animatronics look very scary, but once you see that they run on air and that they don't have moving legs, even if they were haunted all they could do was look at you. I want to get into robotics but have no idea how to even start

I wish i was this crafty and new how to measure bigger objects and be able to understand how and where things should go and work. But your work sir is amazing.

Just wondering Edit: the game is breaking a little chuck fell in the floor and Helens eyes weren't working correctly and the eyelids crush the eyes and she lost her eyes to then jaspers guitar fell off munch is ok I guess pasquallys mouth was infinitely open his hands fell of and his eyes glitched this was on different days I did it in order but it was different

What is the best way to find and purchase even one of these Animatronics? I have been searching for years and I either just miss out or go long periods without finding a single one. Could be in bad shape and I would gladly pick it up.
They can't move around, they only move when there's compressed air going through their system and when the valve banks picks up pre-programmed signals of a show that gets played.

It's a door on the floor that allows you to access whatever is below. For the Rock Afire Explosion, they make their valve banks accessible by having trap doors above where each valve banks are under the stage floor
