- This is our 4th shakedown getting ready for our travel series on this episode we simulate us finding a spot on public land and setting up the onetigris hammock tent ise the onetigris cot and cooking with the Little Buddy Space Heater. Breakfast in the morning then we hit the road off to the next destination.

You can make your own jiffy pop by putting a couple tbs of the oil of your choice in the bottom of a small pot, put in 1 layer of corn kernels to cover the bottom of the pan. Don’t do too many, it will over fill your pot. Put on the lid and once it starts sizzling, shake continuously until the popping stops. So tasty.

Tortillas are the only way to go during a camping trip. That tent is so awesome! I want one just to use in regular, non "hot tent" weather
Kevin that tent is amazing like I said I didn't use it as a hot tent on that episode I did the other day work perfect but man it is nice without any heat just keeps you out of the wind in the weather kind of glamping

Yes that is a smaller folding table I actually don't fold it it slides right under the bed pad and is only long enough to go to where the back seat starts so it actually levels the bending area out and then I can slide it out extend the legs and voila table yes that was a beautiful area I will be returning on a future video once I get back from out west

Awesome meal and you definitely may want to bring your woodstove with you. Higher elevations will have snow n or high winds. Bring it...why not. Better have it n be warm then need it and be cold.
Yes that is one of the items that is going up in the Cargo Carrier and definitely bringing along and I am excited to even use it without the flu on nights where I can have a contained fire

25:21 .. I LOVE using soft tacos, or other "wrap bread" for burgers and hotdogs! Even at home .. less bun more flavour, less messy!! :)
Yes and they pack very well I learned that from feeding hikers on the Appalachian Trail they a lot of times pack those because they last and they don't squish like bread but a lot of them will eat peanut butter or just cheese yes very versatile great food and when they're heated up a little bit oh there's so much better thank you so much for watching take care
This is great. My father also has drop foot. Those braces work really well. Stay safe, enjoying your videos. Makes me go out there and do the same.
Yes brother the braces do help a lot in fact I have a titanium one that I will be switching out to for my travels it's a little more bulky but it has a spring to it that when I walk it should help on some of the trails and you are welcome and yes get out there keep making them take care of my friend

Yes those cheeseburgers were awesome I can't believe that that little buddy heater produced enough heat to cook them I can make so much stuff on those if I'm using the heater already anyhow right and travel Vlog is coming together perfectly it's getting very very close

Another entertaining video, Tony. I gotta tell ya though, it really makes me nervous to see you not clearing all those dried pine needles away from the heater. They can catch on fire which will spread insanely fast amongst all of that synthetic material (top quilt, tent/tarp, clothing, jacket, etc.) especially in windy conditions. Always better to be safe than sorry. Take care, brother.
Yeah I know what you mean I ended up putting the little buddy up on the table and only ran a little bit while I was awake even though it was windy there was not any Breeze inside the tent but yes the pine needles were outside of the tent area under the trees the area that I was was very dried grass though and I was a bit concerned I had a water right there ready to go at any time but yes thank you for pointing that out

I caught that you knew CONGLOMERATE! I don't know many people who know what. I teach Earth Science. We are in the middle of the mineral and rock unit, and we talked about the conglomerates this week! Very nice 👌

Yes! You said it right! The angular pebble version is breccia. That's fun to say too! Lol... you betcha!! I'm going to have to look into the Arizona Quartzsite. I have been there bit to see the Grand Canyon. What a sight. God put that formation into motion. It's amazing the power of water to carve it out. "The book of geology " John Wesley Powell. The desert is going to be beautiful for your trip. I lived in the Mojave Desert in Southern California for 5 years. Spring was my favorite season there.

Yes usually I do heat them up it certainly makes them way more pliable as well but yes the taste definitely changes when they're warm

I never knew that heater hack before. You almost need an ecofan on top of the heater grate to blow onto you and reclaim some of that heat.

Yes the little buddy hack is pretty amazing I wasn't sure if I would be able to cook hamburgers on it but I was amazed it made quick work of them in about 20 minutes they were medium perfect

Yes I don't even ask the deli when I walk up they just know and start cutting it I always get it cut probably twice the thickness of a regular slice because the one thing about Cooper is always sticks together but it is my favorite as well yum

@@randomadventures2.0 just keep your valuables inside the vehicle. Lol. True story - 2017 found myself homeless and living under a tree (had tarp from dollar store for cover and shelter! No video! Should have! Lol) for a few months in my hometown of Butte, Montana (long story! ) I had put my glasses next to me and went to bed(was working as cashier at Safeway, long day, a few Step Twos of the Hemp ale) woke up in morning and glasses were gone. Thinking the otters who lived in nearby creek and pond I was "camping" next to had come and stolen them. Luckily I had a second pair as I'm blind as bat wo glasses. Lol.

It's nice being in the 2.0 family. It will be fun travelling cross country with you, Tony. My wife and I spent a couple of days tent camping and hiking in an Arkansas national forest this week. It got down to 28 deg F and our Coleman $40 sleeping bags did just fine! We hiked 20 miles in two days and didn't see another hiker. The outdoors are the place to be, even in February!
Steve that is so awesome sounds like you guys had an amazing time yes 28° is chilly but if you're geared up right it can be a wonderful time not many people like to Camp or hike in those temperatures so yes you would have the woods pretty much to yourself LOL

Yes definitely wants the car go carrier is mounted on the car I do plan on bringing the wood stove absolutely man those burgers were delicious I plan on using that hack again it was amazing how quickly it cooked them

You gotta have mesh on every opening down here in Arkansas, we have bugs year round. You might get away with that kind of tent on a really cold day but I wouldn't chance it down here.
That is good to know thanks for the pointer I will be bringing a hammock with a bug net which not sure if I can lay in the hammock on the cot and utilize the bug net if I have to and there's no trees we'll have to play it by ear

You spotting the people across the water pointed out the reason I will NEVER be able to do what you are doing. I would love driving across the country and I would love seeing all the sights but I will freely admit I am too big a chicken to ever do so. I would have to have a locked door between me and whoever might be lurking somewhere nearby. I would be uneasy about what animal might be around but I would be more uneasy about what human animal might be around. I guess I will join the armchair brigade who just sits and watches other people go out and explore. And that sounds terribly boring but it also sounds a lot safer. I am looking forward to seeing where your adventure takes you.
Yeah they were there for quite some time they were a concern in the beginning but then I'm not fearful too often maybe I should be but I felt at peace
If you do decide to bring a wood stove It still gets cold at night out here in the west.
