Desert Camp Arizona
Tonto National Forest Car Camping during extreme heat advisory in Arizona Desert. I waited for 3 days hoping th heat advisory would be lifted. When they extreme heat advisory was extended for another 7 days I had to come up with a plan if I was still going to do a camp in that area before I left to head north.

Fair comment @joshdelay209 and I don’t disagree. 45 years in the military, with concomitant near death experiences will do that to you. I don’t get outwardly excited about things like I did 40 years ago. Despite what you saw, I rather enjoyed myself. I do hope that you enjoyed the video, though.

My parents were camp host for Rocky Mountain Recreation at Thunder Ridge Campground in the early 90s. My kids used to run around that campground. Watching this really brings back some great memories. Thanks for sharing your experience

Question about the compass .. does it even work well enough to be trusted? Mine changes direction depending on the tilt of the watch, it may be as much as 180* off one second, 90* the next .. I'm wondering if I got a defective watch ... Thanks for the review
