  • In today's video I will show you how you can collaborate remotely via Zoom. I will be recording a drummer in his studio over 100 miles away using Logic Pro X and all done over Zoom.

    Great video! It’s worth mentioning that Tim or any other live remote players can use an iPad or iPhone (w/ Logic Remote)) to locally adjust their monitor levels wirelessly. This is especially helpful to drummers and eliminates the running around Tim mentioned. Great job guys!

    Does the drummer need to use an audio card with this method?

      Good question. The drummer does need to be patched into an audio interface either via a mixer or directly into a multichannel audio interface. In my example we had the drums miked up and the signals went straight to a PerSonus digital mixer. This then fed the sound through to logic where the recording took place. Hope that makes sense.
