It's good that you have started this series but I think u can upload a video on how to prepare Rendering file before Rendering in 3d software like prongs ,fillet edges.

Hi PJ, Is it really necessary to spend the extra $1000. for the Pro version? What is missing for jewelry designers if they only get the HD version?
I use the educational license. however, If you are not using for photo realistic image to post online. I think HD version can get you a well communicated images with your clients.
Hi~ I have a question~ You are rendering jewelry with Rhino (what exact program name?) and then use the Keyshot to animating or lighting more realistic feature?
I build model in Rhinoceros 6 and rendering in Keyshot
Make another video teaching how make as does the background of the piece, please. And also if you have how to make an animation of the ring rotating.
There are a lots of presets background present in keyshot.. u can try n play with them.. and also can download some from internet . Those are free.. try it

hola,como siempre un video muy instructivo,quiero hacerle una pregunta ,es posible desfasar la malla de un modelo ya creado y mantenerlo solido?, es que tengo un diseño .stl y quisiera aumentarle el grosor a las paredes pero al desfasar la malla el diseño se vuelve hueco y para imprimirlo en 3 d no me sirve hueco,gracias de antemano
you can try OffsetMesh command

Hi, good day. for rendering jewels, would you use Keyshot 9 HD, or Keyshot 9 Pro?
I use Pro and my set up is pretty simple, because my goal is to communicate with client. super realistic rendering for website posting (for example) is not my main focus.

I personally like to use keyshot for rendering and photoshop for retouching if necessary.
