Thanks for this review. I’m struggling with this one as much as I am enjoying it. I find the father exhausting so particularly in the middle section have had to put it down and read other things for a break! Just about to start reading the final part so hoping it brings all the threads together. It is an interesting book however for the areas you highlight and have also enjoyed the Naples backdrop.

Ah yes, I found the middle section similar! I think the end brings it together well, and gave the book a bit more heft for me.
