She took her car out on a day that she planned on bar-hopping. She was not forced to drink, she was not forced to drive. She did not go to rehab while waiting for trial. She deserves every day of the 25 years.
I was hit at 0830 on my way to pick up my graduate degree, while five months pregnant. 23 years ago, the drunk driver flipped over four lanes going over 70 mph . He landed on top of my car and crushed me. I was declared dead. Jaws of life. It’s a blessing that my son came out perfect. I have broken back, neck since. Many surgeries. Life altering. Neck is permanently fused damaged. I refused treatment at the time due to the pregnancy. I was an amateur bodybuilder my entire life up until then. That drunk fled back to his country. I’ve been footing the medical and holistic bills for everything ever since.
On the rewatch. I found you through Recovery Addict. I watched the sentencing after following the case since Jamie smashed into this young couple’s golf cart on their wedding day. Her jailhouse calls were nothing short of infuriating. Her parents raised a spoiled, entitled brat and enabled her bad behaviour. That was clear from their side of the conversations, making excuses for her rather than holding her accountable!
She plead guilty in open court, with no plea deal in place. Her attorneys should have warned her it was possible for her to get the max. She didn't just drive drunk, she drove PLASTERED, HAMMERED. I don't think there are many mitigating factors for her. She should have been prepared for this.
Daddy's don't say your a bratty little girl, you deserve this...Maybe some, who also abuse their children. How many of us would still love our child if they did this? I would feel horrible if my child did this, but I would do anything in my power to stand by her. What she did was wrong, she is going to prison. How many of us have said "Why did this happen to me" ? Don't get me wrong, killing the bride on her wedding day is probably the worst thing she could have done. But stop, criticizing her father for still loving her.
Daddy treated her like a princess and she never had to take responsibility. She only heard daddy tell her how great she was. If she had heard daddy’s belt clearing belt loops from time to time, she might have had some responsibility or at least the common sense to not drive drunk. She caused so much suffering! She deserved more time really!
She's lucky that's all she got she took a life and hurt many other's physically and emotionally for life and she's crying about having to go to prison for 25 yrs she needs to stop acting like a spoiled selfish brat that thinks THIS HAPPENED TO HER SHE DID THIS TO HERSELF She doesn't get to play victim now when SHE chose to drink and SHE chose to get drunk No one forced her to do this SHE willingly did this and SHE didn't even get hurt. Her problem is she's not use to having to face the consequences of her actions daddy probably got her out of trouble her whole life well she's not a little kid anymore she's almost 30 years old it's disgusting the baby talk her parents do when talking to her and her asking why this happened to her and her father saying bad things happen to good people Jamie and her family don't seem like good people at all none of them have shown any remorse or sympathy for the victims
Well, I thought she found some heart during the trial, hearing from the family. Evidently I was wrong. I guess she was still crying for herself. She should have a long sentence plus never be allowed to drive again.
Reply crew, I don’t think this chic is sorry for anything..only herself for this inconvenience in her life..maybe jail will help change that for her but I don’t think so
If I'm in her situation, and they don't offer a plea deal, I'm taking it to trial.
Hope u r never in her situation
I don’t see a lot of hope for her recovery if she considers all of this to be something that happened TO her. Smh.
@@DeweyKnowaBitfromaByte that will change in time. She’s young. Hopefully. You never know with this generation though.
I say bull ship!!! 🚢 toot toot!!!
Jamie deserves every 25 years she got!!! If the judge goes back on this, that will not be good!!

Still waiting for Jamie to realise that she was the cause of someone dying and several being SEVERELY injured.
On rewatch!😊
