I am now 36 yo and really wanna become comercial airline pilot. how do i start? i read somewhere that it is not too late to start in fact there are FOs who start their first flight at the age of 43!..
Tbf he holds a diploma and has worked at hotels (presumably as an exec) before he joined airasia as a despatch boy. Make no mistake, becoming a pilot is a great feat that many ppl can only dream on but to say that he went frm merely delivering packages to flying a commercial jet in 2 yrs time is rather inaccurate.
George mathew Am Indian too but unfortunate if you want to be a pilot in India you need to have a lot of money to pay bribery. However, the first qualification is your religion and caste as well.
for your information. Air Asia will help u in financial. They will guide u how to manage the payment. so, for me, it's not about you got much money in your pocket. it's all about your passion of flying.

Ah hah, dispatch in this sense, means a courier, as in a parcel courier. Nothing to do with Air Dispatcher.

The Air Asia X fleet is comprised of the Airbus A330-300 and A340-300 aircraft Coyle
Correct however this pilot flys for Air Asia not Air Asia X their sister company.
