    crazy to say but I think the Shredder might be one of the more balanced monsters in the game. It's price is insane but it matches its power. Bringing it to a match means you're committing fully to that unit. Win or lose you're all in

    The anti-haggard complaints have paid off: Tomb Scorpion and K'daai Destroyer are getting collision damage in 5.3!

    Awesome to see high-value SEMs getting damage in but doesn't seem very conducive strategy for domination as lizardman player got completely rolled on objective points despite smashing beastmen in terms of damage value

      It might work better against another faction like Cathay that struggles to capture objectives. Although that might not be the best example because iron hails would delete it.

      If instead of nakai and an oracle it was a life slann, the LM player would have had more gold to spend on capturing potential.

      That's the thing about a death star SEM ball. It can't be everywhere and do everything, or else it would be OP. If the lizardman player had taken one objective, then left his infantry there, and taken his heavy hitters to the next nearest objective, he probably could have smashed everything in between and on objective 2 and kept smashing till victory. And if he had sent a token unit to the last point, he could have forced the beastmen to keep a unit or two there to hold the point. As it stands, lizardmen took 1 point at the start, held it for 110 seconds, then went from 4:15 to 9:40 without a point., almost 5.5 minutes being triple capped. Even though the value difference was over 3k right after that, the lizardmen needed to start capping all the points and panicked a bit, and the beastmen player took advantage and picked him apart.

    The Dread Saurians and Khemrian Warsphinx have such great charge through damage with how it continues after the initial impact now. I wish CA would extend that momentum damage to some of the underperforming large monsters, heirotitan ect

    Vigor is very strong. Unless I forgot the numbers, you lose 30% charge bonus, 30% MA, 35% reload rate, 10% MD, 10% weapon strength and 25% armor. That's part of why it feels like there's such a stark difference when something has perfect vigor. 25% armor doesn't seem too bit but it adds up fast as a lord or large entity gets circle beaten by weak infantry.

    It would be nice to see certain factions and units get a free speed boost from sand like "Aquatic" give those Saurus a chance to actually make it to an Objective.

    Dang, I can imagine the Hippo was theorycrafting. Probably should have leaned in harder into saurus warriors so he could leave them on one point and grapple for 2 and 3.

    Seems like HMH was just having fun (more power to him!) because he made basically no effort to win the game. It was clear about halfway through that he'd have to split up his army to start challenging points and instead he just made a deathball in the middle and MONSTER MASHED.
    Which, you know I get it, it's a game. No worries.

    Can't really say who Won because there were still units alive.

      I too yearn for a regiment of light cav draw kiting around the edge of the map for an hour.

      If you can't hold ground at all, you're not really still in the fight. If you actually saw a last man standing match like you want you'd be bored to tears by what the gameplay would descend into

      @@vyeelime8143 every map capture point is useless ground. I can't comprehend what value it could have.
      And to avoid the obvious micro cheese. Have it so the units attack on their own.
      Maybe even have them all spawn in group.
