- A lesser appreciated but none the less awesome shooter for the Mega Drive and Genesis. If the box says Technosoft, you know you're in for a good time. This is for sure one of my favorite shooters on the console, and it might be one of yours too.

remember putting that the first time in my japanese megadrive, when I got the game fresh from japan.... mind blown, just in the first 20 sec. Intro, music, graphics and then the gameplay. 10/10 in my book forever.
I am so glad i ordered this Game a long time ago. You are totally right! The Music is beyond fantastic! Greetings from Germany. 👋
Tecno Soft did some amazing stuff, this looks like no exception.
Never had chance to play this back in the day, so as always, thanks for the review Jim!
aweome review, actually got my copy in the mail today. Wasn't cheap, but worth every penny!
Ugh 😩. I got to the finally boss a couple of years back a lost. I need to get back and beat this game.
last time I played it - 5 years ago, so I can't really tell what weapon I used, but it's all intuitive when you look at the boss patterns, just make sure you last the shadow power up till the boss - even with starting weapon it can do a lot of damage :)
Treychik good looking out
I've been playing this a bit lately. I had no idea you can power up your dude so much. I haven't played it much I've never passed the first level yet but damn it looks really good.
Great pick. Anyone who hasn't played this, must play it!
I totally forgot about this game! I need to revisit it.
Looks dope! Great review.
I'm going to give this game a whirl tonight. Had no idea it existed. Thanks!
Psh.
This game rules so hard.
Loved Tecnosoft back in the 90's, graphics and music were top notch and a cut above everything else. Just looking at the great Japanese box artwork tells you enough that their games are special.
Still love Technosoft..
this gem is on my list eheh
Now you gotta play Twinkle Tale
Literally one of my first games for mega drive...aaaaah, memories! Love cutscenes, music is incredible and graphics just marvelous! Oh! And thous sounds...mmm. But ending is lazy, as in most games back then...boss rush before final boss...really?!
Get Gain Grounds! Loved it as a kid! Simple concept, yet so interesting!
Excellent game. Shame it still doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Always felt it kinda lives in the shadows of the thunderforce games and if it was perhaps made by another developer (one without a series of successful shooters on the MD) it might have gotten more love..??
This looks like a good one. Amazingly enough I have yet to pick up a mega drive. There are quite a few variations I imagine is there one too look out for or will any do the trick?
I have a CIB North American copy of this game! I really like it, but I think it's too short. I also don't like how they padded the end with a boss rush. It's a shame they never made a sequel because I think it deserved one.
Pretty sure that was because the game was on a very small rom so they had to reuse the boss encounters for the next to last level
For one time, the US cover of the game is great (japanese too)
Ha...I forgot...there was a japanese shmup with spaceship...so basically Japanese cover was made in red with naked Japanese girl covered only by the spaceship in front of her :)) the US version had a god awful cover for it with ugly boss on the cover...ugh
Have you done a M. U. S. H. A. review? And if not what's your thoughts bro?
He did
Shore view, Ken?
Sho-review-ken. The flying review fist.

I love the soundtracks to these games, but why do the sound effects always have to be this cacophony of robot farts?
