Hello Mam. There is a great deal of sincerity and affection with which you present your work. It is a sheer delight to understand all that you're saying. @@Nisha.Thaju.Kitchen do we need to season the clay pot with oil even if we are going to use that pot only for cooking non oily foods like boiling dal or boiling rice? Will it not leave the smell of oil while cooking rice?
Hello mam, i have followed all your instructions two years back to season the pot. And still today i am using the pot...with no complaints. Thank you very much.
This is the most informative video about how to use a clay pot I have seen. I've never used a clay pot or known anyone using a clay pot that could teach me how. Thank you for sharing your valuable information to those who need it. This is a great video.

Thank you for the very well narrated and informative video. I just bought a few clay pots and looked through a few videos about seasoning them and I found yours to be more descriptive than the others, not to mention the very well put, step by step process of seasoning it. I believe it couldn't have been any more complete and especially loved that you included when to discard the pot. I wouldn't have fugured that out unless it actually had a hole in it. Well I cant wait to get my pots washed, dried and ready to go. They're just about to get out of the third day of immersion in cooked rice water . Thank you Nisha 🙏
Your tutorial is the best one I have seen/heard in a long time. I was literally mesmerised by the slick editing, the script and narration. It was to the point yet detailed enough that we don't have any questions after watching the entire video. Your voice and words are very soothing and wise, and it reminds me of my favourite teachers back in school. Please keep up the great work; thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and experiences about food!!! :) :) I can't wait to buy my clay pot and make some nice fish curry in it, after I follow all your steps in this video!

If you find oil leaking at the back side of the pot or while cooking means pot is not fit for cooking. Normally this happens if clay pot is broken from inside or over used.
