You can also tactical reload your weapon: grab a fresh mag from your pouch, hold your hand beneath the mag in your weapon - and now, in addition to the trigger button, press the hold button: then you'll have both mags in one hand. slide the full mag in, let "hold" go.. and you're ready to go without dropping your empty/half full mag to the ground.
Small note about mp5, if it is not fully loaded the mag can be inserted without locking back the charging handle. This is an even further attention to detail. So just take one round out of all your mags before raid for easier and faster reloading.
It’s inconsistent which is why I didn’t include that in the video, I did have it recorded but I had a 60% success rate (it’s a bug that I’ve raised to the devs)
It`s dumb that the devs made it so the guns click when they are on safety. The click means the firing pin is moving, which would fire a round, but the safety`s on most guns stop the hammer from moving so it shouldn`t fucking make noise it needs to be no noise when you try to fire. The MP5 and MP40 can be loaded with the charging handle all the way forwards. With the MP5 you just have to be a lot more forceful, and with the mp40 there is literally no change whether you put in on safe or not.
It’s kinda meh, doesn’t bother me all that much - they want to go for realism but they need to gamify it a bit as otherwise there would be no indication, other than visually, that the weapon is on safe.
Yeah there can be some tracking issues in game - it’s a pain but if you turn off stuff like motion smoothing and the virtual stock it tends to smooth out Almost every time they make changes to the game something b0rks the tracking. It’s a common issue with the oculus PCVR version and stuff

Idk dude i looked it up im pretty sure you can load an open bold smg with the bolt forward irl especially if you download by one or two rounds. I made a video about the mp40
This particular bit was specifically about fully packed mags, in game though unloading a few rounds doesn’t always perform as intended so to avoid confusion I removed that section out, once changed by the devs I’ll update
@Rat King Yorick for sure I got curious and it was actually kind of hard to find info on the real life ones. I have heard that ww2 mags were very stiff and a pain to even load
