So I’ve made about 4-5 gunstocks at this point. The first 3 had “cups” for both of the controllers and the 3rd, the cup was able to slide forward and back so I could use pump shotguns. I had a hard time finding that cup in game and being able to do it quickly, no matter how hard I tried. One thing I recommend trying is using something smaller in diameter for the main rail piece along the bottom. Probably about 20-24 inches at least. Then use the toilet paper roll to create that cup for the back that is fixed. Fix a strap and then DONT use a cup for the stability hand. Just rest your hand and controller along the bottom rail. You cans still use it for pumps but don’t have to worry about finding the cup mid fight. Reloading is much easier, just as stable, if not more stable. Obviously everyone is different but after making that final change, I’m a force to be reckoned with, both up close and at range. Good video!
I'm thinking of trying this out without the front holster for ease of use with pump shotguns. How does it handle with smgs and bolt action rifles? Could the stock be changed include a chin rest?
You just remove your front controller and reload normally. The video shows how to make the strap holders. You can craft or use wires or your own strap from any old camera, bag, etc...
what is reloading like with this gunstock and also is it possible to implement magnets in the gunstock (for the controllers for easy reloads and equip)
You could make cups with magnets on the bottom of them. Have the cups attached to your controllers. And magnets or pieces of metal attached to the stock. Reloading is easy. I use this stock in all of my lives and videos. Its an everyday use for me
