@@firstclassaviation8577 I've listened to just about every X5M and X5M50i exhaust clip on youtube as I'm in the market for one of them and this in my opinion is about as good as it gets. I'm sure if you did the same mod I'm sure yours would sound at least this good maybe better but the stock exhaust on an X5M is underwhelming at best.
Pretty deep and loud, sounds muscular! I am not a big fan of it for this specific car tho, it was more like a 63 grade amg should be sounding like, but for a bmw? I personally prefer a sound that is more linear and NA torwards like.
Agreed, as this is not on the same level as an AMG 63, now the X5M should have this exhaust as it is faster and nicer than the AMG 63. Yes, it is faster as I own one and have raced an AMG 63S a few times and left them pulling away.
@@deconnation2206 LOVE your mod! I have a 2023 X6 M50i and reside in California. Did cops pull you over at all for the muffler delete? Was it so loud it was unbearable? Did you keep your valves sensors on?
This was some exhaust tip covers I found on amazon. I didn't like the large hole with the pipes inside. These install right over that and I rather the look

So I sold this a while back but no there was no drone at all. It was actually much better in person even. I wish I would have made more videos. I was worried it would be crazy loud but it wasn’t. It was perfect for what I like.

Before I watched videos I asked my exhaust guy last week and he said it’ll be loud but I told him all my cars are straight piped- but I’ll watch some videos. Most of the videos the muffler delete doesn’t sound loud at all. That said I’m getting it done early Saturday morning 😬😬😬
Wowowowow. I have a tune, catless downpipes, resonator delete, and now the muffler delete and it’s REALLY LOUD hahahaha. At startup it’s louder than my ZR1 w catless corsa xpipes and AWE Track exhaust 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 It’s perfect!!AND my M850i does have 0 drone. Success!!!
No drone. I find the interior is very well sealed and it's not loud at all. It has a great sound. It sounds just mean enough and once at idle it doesn't sound loud at all. I had a local shop do it. $200 total for the work.
@@EastWood2004 should’ve gotten the X5M, it is quite a difference, came from an I50sport to a M comp, total beast. I wouldn’t do this as it voids warranty, I would verify with the dealership.
I had traded the vehicle 2 years ago. The exhaust was just custom modified with straight pipes replacing the factory muffler. Any good muffler shop can do this for you. Only cost me $200

why would he? lol not messing with cats, which are for emissions. Mufflers and resonators are strictly for sound.

The beginning was a cold start so you could hear it and then once it idled down, revs came

I did not. I only did the work to the muffler and left everything else as is. The crackles just happen on their own.
@@travisgravois have you test the sound db with cold start and press accelerate? I may do the same thing as you if the sound is loud!

This sound is not constant, it settles down after a minute or less after warm up, the popping should go on every off acceleration.
