Band Camp was the best of the AP spinoff films because it's the only film that shows that the guy doesn't have to get laid in the end for it to be a happy ending.
For example, Naked Mile was great for me until its ending. I get bored of this fckin free pass stuff. Band Camp was not great at all but when we look at to the ending NM sucks. Beta House was probably my fav in "Presents" series.
Naked mile and beta house were fine, but band camp was the only spin off that really captured the point of American Pie. The value in american pie that was taught was how hook ups are fun, but the genuine relationships you develop are what truly matter. In my mind, I feel that band camp captured this better then the other spin off films.

"She's so high" was, of course a much bigger hit, and it's a solid pop song. However, this is a better song in my opinion. First off the song has a classic pop-rock arrangement that effectively utilizes dynamics. Couple that with great production that makes it difficult to place the era the song came out in, and we've already got the potential for a winner. Ultimately for me it's the melodies that truly stand out. Mr. Bachman clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to crafting vocal melodies on top of a chord progression. Great song.
