- In this video I've compared 10 chain lube of different brands , WD-40 and gear oil so that we can find out is it worth to spend on chain lube or not or is the good old gear oil & WD-40 are any good for our chain.
In this video I've conducted Fling test, Sand test & Rust test to find out the best chain lube.

Nice one bro. Since you have checked these many, can you check below lubes as well if possible: 1. Liqui Moly White Chain Lube 2. Castrol Racing Chain lube 3. Rolon Chain Lube
I was using Motul C1 C2 regularly for 2 years. Then last time I bought Castrol Racing Chain Lube instead of Motul C2. Few things that I observed - Castrol seemed to better in terms of Fling. But my chain started showing signs of rust.
But I remembered that I had used WD 40 for chain cleaning and thought it might have caused this rust issue. Then I used Rolon Chain cleaner and lubed again with Castrol Chain lube and I dont see rusting now.
So it will be good if you can test some of above lubes and add to the summary 😀
Also Castrol Racing Chain Lube is relatively cheaper than Motul. Though I bought because in my parents home town Motul Lubes were not available. 😅
For sure bhai I'll check the above mentioned lubes in part two.
WD-40 is a solvent basically so if you use it to clean your chain and did not remove it completely before applying lube it'll dissolve the chain lube too. So I'll suggest to not use the WD-40 to clean your chain too and if you have to use it anyway make sure to wipe it totally with a rag towel.
I ordered MAXIMA and Castrol Racing lube too for this video but they didn't get delivered because of some issues with Amazon's delivery team. I wanted to make a video with 15 lubes but i ended up making up with 12 only. I'll cover the rest of these in 2nd part of this video.

Bro i recently got my chain lubed from bajaj service centre on my N160 the chain looks green blueish in colour (they used Oks lube) is this normal ? And when i touch the chain there are some rough particles and dust even just getting cleaned and lubed, im a bit curious as im a beginner im motorcycles.
Bhai can't say anything about the color you're talking about without seeing the pic.
Yes bhai it's normal to have dust particles even on your freshly cleaned and lubed chain specially after getting it done from service centre as most of the service centres don't really care about the cleanliness of the equipment and rag clothes they use for cleaning of the parts.

I just now bought N250 with dual abs variant.. based on ur test OKS performs worse compared to other brands, but ktm and bajaj peopel are asking to stick with OKS. As my bike is new , i am confused to take any risk, as I could see based on ur test , OKS performs worst. But i have used OKS twice brother, and my city is dry with roads full of dust only, but i haven't yet noticed any dust accumulation yet. Only i am noticing rust despite lube still being present on the chain. I was going to take motomax...but now i am a bit confused, can you help me out bro ?
Bhai can you please confirm me first which type of chain does your N250 has like Normal chain or O ring chain please confirm me this i tried searching online but couldn't find anything about this.
There's literally no risk in trying another lube from a reputed brand BAJAJ or KTM or any other company use a lube from a specific brand because they bid lowest to provide them the material. It's all about business they don't think about the result we get in the last it's all about the profit bhai.

I would suggest go for any dry lube if your chain is a O ring one. I'm personally using WURTH DRY LUBE for my O ring chain.

Use kerosene for chain cleaner+ Use 90grade oil for lubing purpose...But It needs frequent lubing as flinging is high in gear oil..
