I'd like springs to be made!!! I feel like 1 inch would be too low of a drop. Maybe half an inch, or maybe even 0.6". I'd love performance springs that won't drop too low and stiffen the ride for the track, but soften it during normal mode. I looked at swift spec R for their springs, and I'd love to have them only half an inch. Storm suspension has a good height, but it's for comfort, not performance.
Are you able to tell us what are the specs for those lowering springs like how much inch drop for front and back and i went on their website and only shows BMW not Hyundai Elantra N at all or other cars, if you can help me get one, let me know. Thank you!
If I’m not mistaken they were doing a limited run on these. I would honestly send them an email to see if they happen to have any more just sitting around. It’s worth the shot brotha. And I wish I had better specs but I only have what I posted in the video as far as fender to wheel clearance.
I would be interested in a set the drop seems just right. However you might want to pass this on to AST. As a manufacturer I would expect them to publish the full spec's. Drop from factory spring along with the particulars like linear or progressive, spring rate and percentage over stock. Complement factory strut/shock valving?
Yes these should fit the 23 since nothing has changed mechanically other than stiffer bushings being added. AST/Moton should be selling these on their website.
I want 1 but Hyundai is doing recalls I heard on the transmissions .I test drove recently the NLINE and N I love both....but I heard people on waiting list for transmission repair and oil pump. I have NOT seen anything related to ELANTRA transmission issues.
We have a manual transmission and the only issue was some of the first Elantra n clutches possibly could have been installed backwards. We fell in that category but never took it in because the clutch is fine. It’s something that would be noticed for the most part right from the get go. 21k miles and 0 issues with our EN.
@@dumbeezy5480 not at all. It’s a great car to drive. We have never been one to buy a car and let it sit around. It’s both our preference actually to take the en out on the weekends just cause it’s such a unique car lol
I wouldn’t attempt it. There was quite a bit of pressure holding the top hat down. Maybe if you slowly loosen each nut until they are all almost off but even then I would be sketched out.
19x8.5 +45 on the stock tire specs. No issue with rubbing in n mode. If you ride in eco mode slight running on hard dips on freeways and such. But nothing major only fender liner never any contact with the body.
Yes we have, the car feels the same as oem to me but just slightly lower so it feels extremely planted. I’ve ran the Veloster N with adro springs at the track and I feel just as confident if not more in the Nlantra in cornering with this setup.
After doing so research on the company and your guys input I’m down to get behind these I think the stance and drop is perfect. Wanting .8 to 1 inch I guess only feedback would be wanting the most aggressive stiffness for ripping that is not over kill for the daily commute as well. A blend between the two but solely focus on handling and control! I’m down to get behind this brand for Elantra n !!!
@@vinchennzobuonauro6637 that was exactly what ast/ moton was after when making these. To have an aggressive ride height while still not taking away from the drivability or comfort. You’ll love them. I’m hoping to hear back from them soon

@@KDMStation it just seems this is a show car build, not used to an enthusiast car being done like this but to each their own. I just hope it doesn't get stance where the tires/wheels are on a 45 degree angle🙄
@@klasseact6663 just because it doesn’t see the track it’s a show car? This is a daily. That sees plenty of canyon roads. I set a reminder to measure the gap from the floor to the fender. I keep having things come up when home and forget. We went back to the oem ps4 as well so it will be relatively similar to everyone running stock 19’s right now or a 18 with a 40 sidewall when we measure so people can see what the difference is between theirs. But I was to say around an inch and a half for sure.
Hyundai make a lowering spring. But ast/ Moton are world leaders in the suspension industry. I feel comfortable with their engineers making a set that works on par or even better than oem.
Honestly I would personally go with the coilovers for the sake of flexibility but regardless it looks sweet (plus it looks lower than the Veloster). Still drooling* over the the vinyl wrap though lmao✌
I would look up the magnuson vs moss act. Essentially it makes the dealer prove the modification installed caused the problem. If you were trying to get your interior parts, suspension, brake components overlook they wouldn’t be able to claim the bov caused those issues. But at the same time if something were to happen to your engine they can deny the claim. Not the warranty. So I would just save stock parks for the worst case scenario.
@@damienfrizzell9394 I’ve had dealerships tell me they would “red flag” me because of my mods but for the small warranty work I have had on our Hyundais that were modified. I never had a dealership bring up the “red flag”

Higher end companies tend to still maintain the adjustable dampening as they have electronic controlled units as well.

You are still able to retain the adaptive suspension. So you can feel the softness when going back and forth.
