@thefullstop23 • Seriously , that's a great idea for so many of the different fish , shrimp, snails and Timmy . I can always go for a new hoodie or two. I'm seeing a freshwater collage , it could have some green eons , Red Cherry Shrimp, Discus , Archerfish, Rummynose and Chunk's.
Cool video. What do you feed the pufferfish to help with there beck snails I'm just wondering cause you didn't mention anything about it? Thanks for sharing. Very beautiful
"can you be drowned under water" Pretty much the only place you can be drowned buddy 🤪 Fantastic tank as usual, I absolutely love puffers, only got Pea Puffers myself but successfully breeding, would love a larger species one day when I can house them (maybe a spotted congo)
I'm old enough to remember screwing flood lights to homemade light stands, washing off driveway gravel, then collecting rocks from the overgrown, wild nature spaces.
Be careful collecting rocks from nature for aquariums! You may inadvertently be adding stones high in iron, copper, etc. Certain metals in stones (esp copper) can wipe out an established tank very quickly. If you aren’t sure you’re collecting inert rocks like shale, slate, quartz, etc. better to buy aquarium rocks at the fish shop.
Man I have been overly busy the last few months working and have had to put video watching on the back burner but super glad I had a bit to watch this morning I just received a huge dose of motivation thanks MD!!
Yasssss! I love puffer fish videos. I set up my 3rd tank (brackish) a few months ago and got a figure of 8 puffer fish for it, I've named him houdini as he likes to disappear in his tank 😅. Your tank is amazing, as always 🐡🐡🐡
He should really consider doing tank set-ups for large businesses and film them for YT. Not like he’s running out of content in this tank room, I was thinking about the extra $$$ (£££) income aspect.
A proper MD build, it looks so good! That substrate blends the scape perfectly. I really enjoyed this one! Just be careful feeding bloodworms still frozen. Fish can freeze burn their mouths leading to fungal infections nipping at that. Thanks MD this video is awesome!
I do like how the finished tank looks but I think I liked it more before majority of the plants got put in, but I understand... water quality and everything.

Such a quality idea that was flawlessly coming together all the way through the hardscape portion. Then the outrageous plant amount kinda took it away imo, as well as the wide open swimming area for the puffers that I was envisioning early in the vid. The amount of plants also caused the tree look to vanish or blend in too much that it wasn’t as prominent of a feature. Love your work but we differ in the plant amount, would love to see this done with just half of the plants or so. Thank you for the content, not trying to crap on your technique or taste, just offering an alternative view to maybe convince ya to try one with less vegetation😂 🤷🏼♂️

MD! Love that you went for a different style on this one. It's been something I've been wanting to try myself. Really love the plant selection, as well. I think I would have leaned into the perspective more and had more of a contrast in the wood sizes, though. Really love it though
I wanted to say that your videos are so amazing. I love you content, its interesting and informative. I also wanted to thank you for creating a space where I can enjoy fish, I live in a dorm and I can't have any. So thank you for scratching my fish itch!
I feel whenever you state a new setup is to provide swim room for the fish, you invariably end up adding plants to the point of negating your intended goal. Sticking Moss to the wood would look great 😊😊😊😊😊
I didn't understand why you added wood on 34:58. I thought you wanted that space for the pufferfish to swim around now you want to fill it up😅

Breaks tank down due to too many plants. Proceeds to rescape and plant ALL the plants... Haha. Looks awesome.

Ask your son to do a pufferfish drawing, put it on a tshirt with, "Lalalalalalala...". it'll sell like crazy, MD. Lol.

Yes, even if it wasn't one of your sons drawings and just a picture of an amazon puffer emphacising their derby face.
29:40 LEAVE IT! You said you want more room for the puffer fish - that was perfect! You might be a frustrated landscaper - hahaha (kidding)
The "forest" turned out amazing! Such beautiful footage at the end!
It also looks a bit like Mangrove roots, which is where many species of puffers are found in nature. 👏🏻 👍🏻
I love this design!
Funny how the fish in the tank next door seemed to be watching the build 😁
