I bought one of each from US Army Gear. They were new unissued for way cheaper than what you paid. Swap the packs on the frames and see how they feel. If it is just the straps you can get new ones fairly cheap.
Us army gear is a good seller iv gotten stuff off them a few times but sadly it wasn't until after I bought these packs that I found them on ebay,, I do not use the rifleman pack it legit jus sits in the gear closet, and the acu pack is my exs pack lol n she never uses it either

That is a bummer on the woodland pack. I bought a desert camo one almost brand new on ebay for 89.99 just a few months ago. All I had to do was assemble it myself. Which their are assembly videos on youtube. Thats a bummer on the woodland pack though. The prices we're too high for those I thought.
Too bad you had to learn the hard way. Hero Outdoors is a scumbag company who I also only delt with once for surplus and not ever again. For new products, no issues of course but on principal if it can be avoided no business with them is best.
You sir paid more than $200 for each one of these!? U got ripped off!!! I got the same deal, two molle packs-Woodland and ACU in very decent condition about $160! If I spend more than 200~300 bucks for a pack I could buy from Mystery Ranch or Eberlestock!
im in Canada all us surplus is jacked up to double what you pay in the us plus the us dollar is worth more than Canadian, if you order off ebay the shipping is higher and import fees are too ..so no matter if I buy from local surplus or on ebay you still over pay
No, those are a relatively new concept. The woodland MOLLE gear was issued for a short time before it was dropped for the dessert camo and then the ACU pattern. Gear changes over time and I'm bummed that the military dropped the FLC as part of the personal web gear in favor of chest rigs. It would be so nice if they would make the medium rucks in woodland, in fact I would love it if they would make the assault packs in woodland again.
@@philipstrotherjr8842 With all the craziness going on the the last 3 years, especially this year anything in the old school M81 woodland pattern is flying off the shelves. I was lucky to score 2 used woodland assault packs in good condition for less than $50, now you can't touch anything like that for less than $90. I saw that there's some outfit on Ebay selling new in package woodland assault packs for over $200 - insane man just insane.
@@philipstrotherjr8842 Wow, that was a score! The only thing that came close was scoring a "used" medium ruck in multicam for a little over $50. The reason I put quotes was that it was listed as used but had pretty much no wear but it was only dirty from being in storage.

The acu ones are better and if you hunt for them you can find it in multicam
You can get a new frame with shoulder straps and waist bell all for $75 at US Army Gear.

Yeah, i got a new woodland one WITH new rifleman set for $97, the one in the vid dosen't even have the correct frame
