Local shop got these in for $765 and the 9DS was only $650 I took a chance on the 9DS before I saw everyone's videos, it felt great and I've had good luck with other Tisas 1911's. I've put about 500 rds through the 9DS and am going to buy the nightstalker today.

This is the next Tisas I plan on buying. I just got the Yukon 10mm and a px9. And they are great guns.
I recently got the single stack nightstalker in 45acp to match my px-9 nightstalker. It is pretty sweet but I will be considering getting this 2011 in the future!

I want the PX9 Nightstalker. The striker fired Tisas. I freaking love the way they look but havent handled one so waiting to find ine somewhere
Just picked one up as well. I’m considering silicon carbide texturing the grip frame on the side panel areas. Interested in seeing how the stippling turns out.

I fondled one at a pawn shop and the mag release was the first thing i hated about the rest super nice. Ill prolly get one
Very cool gun,I can’t decide between this one and the MAC version. I do kinda wish they would do a full length dust cover,but the classic lines up front are nice also. Probably get this in more holster options this way,but I still prefer the look of like the RIA Tac ultra little better on the DS versions.
I recently purchased the Tisas night stalker. What comp are you checking out bro put on yours? PMM recommend not using their comp with the night stalker

I've heard tell there is a factory recall across most of their 1911 2011 lineups. The hammer has been following the slide and firing rounds off when chambering.
This was only for certain product SKUs and was like the side effects of medication, a rare event but they decided to do something about it rather then let it ride
@@ashleyl3861 yes and I have one of the raiders under the recall I have 150 rounds through mine without the issue happening. I talked to my local gunsmith and he told me if it where to happen (very rare) that he could fix it for 15 to 20 bucks with a new sear spring.

I was interested in this as a base platform to upgrade. I dont thinj i could assemble a 2011 from parts for what these go for (inckuding cerakote). I would like to swap to s bull barrel but that's the only change id nake.

im just here to live vicariously through the yt gun community, Wash State wont allow any weapon with a mag cap above 10 be sold in state, why they dont just sell the gun without the mags idk but thats my reality until i move. been wanting a 2011 since staccato was sti. finally got the money for one and boom BANNED. so i just run my 1911. love the channel.
Some places will send you a mag that hold less. I've seen places like palmetto state ask where you live so they can comply with the states laws

The s at the end of Tisas is pronounced like the sh in shop, thats why it has a little hook at the bottom.

Night Stalker vs. Duty ds has a threaded barrel, which is .55 inch longer, lightening cuts in the slide, tritium front sight, and different color. I think, everything else is the same.

Their other DS 2011 pistols are steel frame also. I purchased the Duty(5 inch)DS 9. It’s been great so far. Have a 407K going on mine too.

Para ordinance was the company that came out with the 2011 and double stack not staccato buddy
Para only made double stack 1911, STI/Staccato started making 2011s in 1992 which where the frame is a separate part from the grip which started out being polymer then more recently company’s have been making aluminum and steel grips.
Sti/staccato are the original 2011 manufacturers they are the ones that hold the patient on the 2011 witch is frame /slide/grip module anything else is a double stack 1911 and yeah staccato hold trademark of 2011.
Para made a double stack 1911 not a true 2011 with a modular grip module. There are plenty of companies that make double stack 1911s like Rock Island and Remington. However without the grip module, it's not a 2011. It's almost like comparing an AR15 to an ACR just because it takes the same magazine.
@michaelmoses4019 their are true 2011s out there but they can't go by that name because staccato owns the trademark to it tisas makes them and they are true 2011s they are slide/frame/and grip module they have them very good priced starting at 700 and goes up to 950 for the night stalker version, live free armory apollo 11 is another true 2011 they are around 960 . But I want both lol the tisas comes with 2 mags and the apollo I think only 1 mag . But it's comes down to tisas is a Turkish company and live free armory is USA 100% American made . I'm just glad to see more and more ds 1911s for the longest time sti was it and I'll be damned if I spend over 2 grand on a gun. I'm a very budget kindof gun collector and I can't bring myself to drop that kind of money on a single gun plus my wife would lose her crap . I don't mind paying for quality but staccato your paying for the name more then anything and same about tarian tactical your paying for the name both are great gun companies but not good for average gun collectors.
@@obailey8586 I agree, there are also plenty of brands that make a true 2011 and even have interchangeable parts with staccato, but para and other regular double stack 1911s often only interchange slides only or maybe just magazines. All parts aren't interchangeable due to a completely different design.

Well I'm at 3:14 in the video and already found no reason to continue watching. I live in communist connecticut where 17 round magazines are deemed illegal by our tyrannical government. Nice gun but I'm a law abiding comrade and will not be able to enjoy such a gun. I will have to leave that pleasure to the criminals in our state to enjoy as they rotate through our revolving door criminal justice system back out onto our streets where the good citizens of our state have legal weapons no match to protect ourselves from the criminals.

Which trigger did you use? I'm looking for a black shoe on mine as well. That's how my MAC 9DS came and that's how I want to keep it. MAC has no a Mim parts at all that I'm aware of. Great review. This is my first DS.@@TheJimminiShow
