    They are the only thing that takes away the pain of a spider bite!!! Just take the insides and rub it on the bite.

    The slime falls off once you boil them. Red pepper, onions, cumin and fry them with eggs. Thats the best.

    I have two medium sized Oputia ficus-indica on my property and I'm learning how to safely harvest and prepare them. Good for your glucose levels.

    It's a tropical plant, in Pakistan there are many local varieties of the plant in our villages.
    I ate it's fruit in childhood when we went to school. It's hard to pick and clean, we used a shaving blade for that.
    It's very delicious.
    But we never used it's pad to eat. We think its not for cooking or eat.
