What blows my mind is that the studio behind this game went from making the Evil Within games to one of the most lighthearted and fun adventures of 2023.
TBH it may even be their downfall. Sony apparently wanted it to do better. But when a game has no marketing and is half the price of most AAA games and relied on only word of mouth it's actually a miracle it did so well regardless.

28:01 has a miniscule detail that goes very unnoticed. When Chai is tumbling through the robots he only says "sorry" on the tech robot because they're buddy buddy. It's so minor but its such a nice detail and touch. 50:48 I'm also just amazed that the devs thought this far ahead to generate this response for a special that people may rarely use. That's so god damn funny and based.

so Corsica was based from Tea blend called "Corsican Pear Spice". A tea blend mix with dried pear, apple, orange blossom, and cinnamon. the taste was like a pear tea with cinnamon on it. You can add 1 teaspoon of sugar or dash of milk if needed

This game has something that you usually only get from Indie games. That special something. This game was raised and nurtured, a product of love and passion. That a team a s big as Tango Gameworks could capture something that usually just the smallest teams can... just breathtaking!

The references in this game make it so much nicer: - the cat's (no, i don't care about any other name) collar's medal's design (lots of sss) looks similar to the metallica logo if you look on the sides - mr. walking jojo reference and so much more, and it all makes the game so much fun (not to mention the actual gameplay, story and artstyle)

Anyone ever play Evolution: The World of Sacred Device? It was a fun RPG on the Dreamcast, and this game reminds me of it for one reason: the names. This game has spices for all the characters' names for this, while in Evolution, all the names were from weapons.
Watched this game for the first time a day ago and love it. The quality of it is unlike most games I've seen lately and it just made me want more. I'd love it if DLC was added in at some point that showed the campus through maybe another character since we never really saw any of the other people enrolled in the campus and I'd like to see what the curriculum was like. Feel like they could have a field day with that one.

But Tango Games studios is founded by Shinji Mikami, who previously worked on God Hand for the PS2, but also Shadows of the Damned and worked with Platinum Games on Vanquish... He actually has quite a history of making action games.
This game is incredibly special to me; I am obsessed. It's an extremely rare case where not only am I actively aiming to achieve 100%, but I've been watching your vods, as well as several other streamers', watched my own friends stream it on discord or twitch, and I have a fucking tattoo appointment to get Chai's music player cybernetic. I love this game so much, to the point where I'm surprised I'm not burnt out on it in the slightest.
