And she mentioned the dryer in the same sentence with linen, the horror. Plus, laundry linen with delicate detergent !? I've never done it and haven't had issues with fibers breaking down. I even wash in 60°C the napkins and tablecloth. The secret is to have the washing machine spin them at max to remove the water, then iron them IMMEDIATELY. Afterwards, I let them air dry on the rack or whatever surface I have free, then fold them.

I’m confused, you first said to store them flat, then you demonstrated pressing them creased and storing them that way.
By pressing the fold makes the naphin wear on the fold!
