Which airline did the callsign "Speedbird" belong to at that time? BOAC?
nice ... but it seems something wrong with the front landing gear? anyone knows the type of this aircraft?
It's a Hawker Siddeley Trident. I believe there was an avionics bay underneath the flightdeck in this type and that meant the front landing gear had to be moved off-centre. It does look quite unusual.
@@rosswilson6957 Yes, that's right, the new type of avionics used were called the Smiths Flight System, that's why the nosewheel had to be offset.
