First: thanks for reviewing this gear. Much appreciated. These videos don't make themselves. Second: Ignor the haters trying to make themselves sound intelligent. Avoid getting in pizzing contests with them. Been away from hunting ( life gets in the way) but tried saddle hunting a few years back. I have an old "antique" Trophy Line tree saddle. They were one of the very first but Im ready to get into a new saddle. Thanks for helping me with my decision. 👍
Thanks for the advice! Hard time dealing with some people. This video/channel was made to help people, we’re not pro’s. Thanks again and hope you have a great Christmas!
I'm new too last year I used a muddy safety harness as a saddle and it worked out pretty well my stand is home made all aluminum very lite and slim with a seat and I use my muddy safety harness as a saddle this year im gonna pair that up with the hawk helium sticks should be a decent set up under 20 lb total
I used this same setup with exception of the sticks last year. Got me in the tree but I have changed just bout everything i possibly can. Put on an adjustable bridge, a predator top bracket on the platform, Amstel lineman an tree tether. Got rid of all cam straps Huge difference but in the end it's still a lower end saddle. Best hunting!
Set the stand with the step up . Pull the whole unit down to take up any slack then bring down the step to cam it in place. Top should be biting the tree aswell.
Thanks for the feedback! We did try that, unfortunately it still did not want to stay tight on the top. Unsure of the problem. For now a ratchet strap on the top works great!
We tried that. It still did not want sit in the tree properly. The pull strap does not seem to be the best quality in my opinion. We installed a ratch strap from XOP and it worked great!
I think I’ll end up going the same route with the sticks and platform anyway and upgrade later cause I might just go ahead and buy a saddle from either Cruzer or trophyline just cause I prefer hunting in a stand but with being restricted to hunting public land now don’t really wanna carry a hang on or climber for any long amount of distance.
So since this video I’ve actually purchased a Cruzer and I love it! Still rocking the hawk sticks and platform with zero complaints! Should have a video up this weekend going over the Cruzer! Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! It could for sure use some upgrades but seems decent for the price! Love the sticks and platform!
Adjust the screw on the post

Does the hawk have Mole capability? I can’t find anywhere online if it does or not
Yes. It has a single row at the very top of the saddle. Hope this helps!
