You don't reset during the game for everyone. Just at the end of the run. You are playing this wrong.

Murder mystery game subscriptions run $300 a year for one box a month. This game completely works for people like me!

It's not £50 per game, it's only £14 for the mainframe and £5 for additional games. Still looks like a fun adventure to play
