Ever heard of marching band? High school kids all over the country do it. No discredit to lucky chops for their talents but they’re not the first to do it by far.
I myself am a band student at middle school. I've played 3 page worth of songs in 12 weeks and done 103 mini songs, I enjoy watching this, I'm a saxophone player myself but watching this really inspires me and I know I'm never quitting band and playing these woodwind instruments, thanks Lucky Chops, really appreciate the time and effort you all throw into these instruments!

With covid it really decreased a lot of clubs or bands you know after school activites even school activites, that's amazing I think clarinet rocks! I defently want too learn clarinet I think the key signature is cool something different too learn rather than octave key.

I swear to god i have seen so many people (mostly high school athletes and kids who don’t put themselves into anything) hate on band kids but then they become this when they stick to band, like i wanna see even the best athletes with amazing stamina get up there and play bari sax, sousaphone, and that trombones power and dance like they are and see how long they last while having good tone and embouchure and playing all those songs from memory and remembering their little in sync dances. it takes a different kind of stamina and power for this stuff lmao. i am a bari player and leo is my idol 😂🙏 thank you for making this compilation 😭👏👏👏
I'm a drummer and play the trumpet myself and I have enjoyed this playing I would love to come to New York just to play my Fluegel horn with your band it would be an awesome vacation
FANTASTIC! I worked at a music store for 10 years and I got really tired of seeing all the band kids from high school coming in selling their instruments for a fraction of what they payed for them originally. I hope we can see more groups like this of any size out there playing. :)
@@everythinggaming7938 when my band director gave us two months to practice a solo, me and a dozen other kids practiced every day, auditions came and the teacher decided to cancel them entirely without seeing a single student 😀 very cool
@@everythinggaming7938 Most students are very stupid and daft as well, they couldnt spot a good teacher even if it was right in front of them. Highschool students just think "value easy and less time equal same result, think that best" exactly like monkeys thought process. Cant change my mind

Smartphones can play for you with just a single touch. no need to practice. GIVE MORE PHONES TO YOUR KIDS :)

The US Department of State should put these guys on a tour to show the world some uber funky Americana.... they can spread positivity in schools and communities around the world. It's be brilliant!

@@inventiveowl395 Yeah I don't get why cartoons call the sousaphone a tuba. I just learned from a comment on another video featuring this band that the large brass instrument in the back left is a sousaphone
@@itsplasma766 @PlasmaLive I disagree. Sousaphone has 3 pistons, tuba has either pistons, or valves, and has 4 or 5. Tuba, thanks to its different construction, can have a much wider register and the sound itself is very different. Sousaphone and tuba don't neccessarily have to have the same key. Sousaphone is not a marching tuba. Marching tuba has the same shape as a tuba, but instead of being held in front of yourself, it's carried on a shoulder facing forwards. Sousaphone also shouldn't be confused with a helicon which is closer to a tenor or baritone.

Tenor sax is so hard to get help with. My daughter is in love with it and has been playing for a year but I can't find anyone to give private lessons. Everybody around us only does alto sax lessons.
20:02 to 20:35 kinda sounds like barbershop as in like you've got the lead, tenor, baritone and bass which are the parts in a quartet that you use to sing, meaning it sounds similar to that except the drums
The top of the tuba horn is getting dangerously close to those fluorescent lights. If he were to hit one of those tubes, that would really suck for him and the drummer.
