For anyone who got remastered and wants to do this fast, it still works they pretty much didn't patch anything. Also for the blue palace method if you use pacify it's faster, but rally is pretty good as well. Also if you have gotten the secret of arcana from the black book it makes this method take a few minutes at most to get level 100. Just use it then spam spells, wait 24 hours when it expires then repeat.
Harmony in a city method is such a great tip, you can literally level from 15-100 in 8-10 casts. So perfect for farming perk points if you want everything maxed, I also used it to unlock training per level vendors to level boring shit like lockpicking and pickpocket up to 90. Huge help bro, great vid!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend the spell "muffle" in the beginning. It can be used anytime and until up to thirty every cast gives you a level-up. It might cost a little more magicka, but with the right perks it is perfect for that. It can be used in the most crowded dungeons without being noticed. I ran most of the time having muffle on my left hand and running around doing quests. I had an illusion level of 100 four times only through muffle (and 2% invisibility).
The best way to get the spells are to get the mod skyrim unbound and chose your primary and secondary magic spells to be illusion then you should have the basic illusion spells.
Same it takes about 15 to 20 minutes but it's better than fast traveling everywhere to get new splls that's how I get perks and lvls fast for all my characters quickly

When I got all skills to 100 with my character, I thought the fastest way to lvl up was let giants hit me to train heavy armor, block and restoration, so I did that all the way to about 120 until I realised by accident that I could do this instead. Two hours later I was lvl 256 and had all perks. Really nice indeed.
I like muffle because this is almost too easy. I muffle while going town to town with a bounty and the amulet of articulation telling guards not to arrest me so my speech raises at the same time.
If you first start and have bugger all spells you can cast calm on olava the feeble in whiterun repeatedly. For conjuration you repeatedly cast soul trap at something dead.
Thanks, this method made power leveling a lot easier. The only inconvenient is that instead of going straight to the level I raised with harmo y, I got to endure each drum roll for each damn level.
you can get a muffle spell book in the mine next to river wood at lvl 1, when you do get it simple cast it in dragonreach or a crowded area over and over it is the fastest way to get illusion to 100

I don't know why it isn't mention much, but if you complete one of the Black Book quests you can get a power the lets you use unlimited mana. This works well for casting costly spelling in rapid succession of one another. This also works for other magics too. Dont remember the name of the black book, but you also obviously need the DragonBorn add-on

I know no one will See this but the best way to level up illusion is to do pacifie in the blue palace when you first enter go to the left and down the stairs to where the leaders are depending on what side you chose you in through imperials or stormcloaks and you just spam pacify until you can use harmony and I’ve already done it six times in a row and I got to legendary in illusion over six times in less than 15 minutes
Works great. The master quest is really easy to unlock harmony for the 15-100 when doing legendary. With well rested and Mage stone, you can get to 100 from 15 in six casts. Stand at too of the stairs in the marketplace of whiterun for it to be exactly six. Great video, thanks for the help!

ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides Calm isnt an aoe spell. Video is very misleading with "when you reach level 25 go get aoe spells" caus they don't appear in inventorys till lv50 -_-

if you have apocalypes-magic of skyrim buy a lot of thrumming stones scrolls and go to a populated city attack everyone use all of the stones and level up your alteration in an instant
I'd like to add that if you've completed the civil war for the stormcloaks, underneath all of the people in the top floor of the blue palace is where all the ousted jarls are and their children and housecarls and stewarts so you'll hit at least 20 people down there with one cast.
it's a bit faster to cast the novice level spell because it uses less magika and after the first perk it uses half magika. depleting the magika bar once or twice and the skill levels up
Please note, There is a glitch where if you cast this enough, A loud sound will start to go off, Like that of an ak-47. If this happens, Just unequip the spell and re equip it
There is another way which is easier and faster or just as fast as this method. Just use the muffle spell repeatedly while having the mage stone equipped, along with the lady stone in the aetherium crown. Make sure you have items equipped that can regenerate and/or fortify magicka at really high amounts, in order for it to be really effective.
If you have a shit ton of magika then you could go buy clairvoyance, cast it and HOLD IT! Don't let go. Open your map and fast travel to the farthest point you can (riften to markarth) and that'll level it up pretty quickly
It's a bit late for this game, but if you don't want to scatter produce all over whiterun, I found this: go to the cave with the bandits and the Redguard mercenaries (I think it's Swindler's Nest in English). For extra EP, take a nap in Rorikstead before going in. Hide in one of the small corridors and spam Harmony. You'll hit just about everyone in there and gain dozens of skill ranks with every spell.
Not sure if anyone knows this by now, but the method works, however to get the spell book rally Your illusion has to be at level 50. Pretty much all skills need to be at level 50 to get higher level spell books.
The confusion I had from this guide was not knowing what making a skill legendary was. So I was trying to work out how to get Call of Arms or Harmony since you neglected to include that information and finding I had to be level 100 which didn't make sense. Also I have since discovered that using Muffle is much quick to level than Rally. So your first section of guide is outdated.
if you're casting rally, a better place to go is the lower level of the blue palace where balgruuf is after the attack on whiterun. there's more people sitting in one area so you'll hit more targets and level faster

Harmony cost is something like 690 mana per cast on 15 illusion. Slowly goes down with illusion increase, but still shitload even on 90 illusion. Call to arms is too slow no matter how many people you get in Whiterun square. So unless you have such amounts of mana (which is one big waste of leveling points imo) it's impossible to level with Harmony. Muffle spam takes around 20-40 mins from 15 to 100 depending on your mana pull/mana regen rate.
John Amil You couldn't be more right about how stupid they are... they made me the 'archmage' and I used a grand total of about 3 novice fire spells (I only wanted the dragon priest mask)
Another tip is if you have 100 enchanting make fortify enchanting and magika regen clothes necklace ring and gloves as well as fortify magika perk so you never run out of magika! works with alterations telekinesis as well

guys rally appears when u talk to the master of illusion guy in the college of winterhold.you will know it's him bc when u talk to him he will say "wait you can see me" and then u say yes and u can go to what he has and if rally isn't available then save hit him and load back and his invetory should be restocked or switched and the only way to get harmony is by getting your illusion to 100 then talking to the same guy who gave u rally and he will give u a quest then after u complete the quest he will give u one out of three legendary illusion moves but he will give one to u randomly and it might be harmony.if it's not then he should have it on sale and u can buy it
one smart thing is to enchant your armor so you get that illusion spells cost 100% less and then its just to spam your abilityes. And if you wonder neckless and rings must be enchated for this to work.
i found another way 1.get the spell courage 2.wait till farengar goes to bed 3.cast it on him 4.repeat step 3 til you get to level 100 or the level you desire

RECORDED MERCURY sneak is a good way to level up fast, 1 of fastest ways i found up to now, stabbing the greybeards from behind look it up. goes up so fast

I did it in a similar fashion what I did however and how I could have done it where different. however here is what I suggest first get muffle then get the mage stone after that get into the collage join and sleep and get the well rested buff then talk to the illusion specialist do the quest related to the collage he has and it will give you a ridiculous mana recharge buff for 2 hours spam muffle until lvl 100 it should only take less than an hour. also you can try using the recharge buff for other things I just use it for illusion.
Problem JJ, is, if you run into a Dragon and you're just leaving chicken scratches on them, while you got 2k health n they're dropping you in 4 or so hits. I like what this guy did, but I seem to run into areas where I had no problem before, now all of a sudden I'm not doing any kind of damage so.
Dear ESO, I have come a cross a very easy trick to level illusion very fast that I see you did not include in your video, so I thought I would share it. This can be done from levek 15 illusion all the way to 100 in about an hour. It is very fast for early levels and helps a lot. If you get the spell muffle and walk around constantly casting it it will level you up very fast. Keep in mimd that you have to keep walking other wise it wont level you. Hope I helped :-)

Another tip is if you have 100 enchanting make fortify enchanting and magika regen clothes necklace ring and gloves as well as fortify magika perk so you never run out of magika! works with alterations telekinesis as well
I used muffle all the way to level 100.... This may be a tad faster
I know your comment is old, but yeah, that's exactly what I did to level to 100, since it doesn't require any enemies or objects.

You can reset a level 100 skill to 15 to get back the perk points. You will still be able to cast master spells

@@kafkafatra you either buy it from the court mages in the cities or the ones in the college of Winterhold, provided that you've got the adequate points in illusion magic.

guys rally appears when u talk to the master of illusion guy in the college of winterhold.you will know it's him bc when u talk to him he will say "wait you can see me" and then u say yes and u can go to what he has and if rally isn't available then save hit him and load back and his invetory should be restocked or switched and the only way to get harmony is by getting your illusion to 100 then talking to the same guy who gave u rally and he will give u a quest then after u complete the quest he will give u one out of three legendary illusion moves but he will give one to u randomly and it might be harmony.if it's not then he should have it on sale and u can buy it

one smart thing is to enchant your armor so you get that illusion spells cost 100% less and then its just to spam your abilityes. And if you wonder neckless and rings must be enchated for this to work.

1.get the spell courage
2.wait till farengar goes to bed
3.cast it on him
4.repeat step 3 til you get to level 100 or the level you desire

Look at his video for leveling speech. It is easy to level and is very useful to have a high speech level no matter what.

RECORDED MERCURY sneak is a good way to level up fast, 1 of fastest ways i found up to now, stabbing the greybeards from behind look it up. goes up so fast

lvl 15 is initial, and different races distribute some extra points throughout th skills depending on the race

Man i know this is an old video, but the grammatical errors and spelling issues are marvelous. Funny looking at this now compared to the new content :P
I did it in a similar fashion what I did however and how I could have done it where different. however here is what I suggest first get muffle then get the mage stone after that get into the collage join and sleep and get the well rested buff then talk to the illusion specialist do the quest related to the collage he has and it will give you a ridiculous mana recharge buff for 2 hours spam muffle until lvl 100 it should only take less than an hour. also you can try using the recharge buff for other things I just use it for illusion.

Problem JJ, is, if you run into a Dragon and you're just leaving chicken scratches on them, while you got 2k health n they're dropping you in 4 or so hits. I like what this guy did, but I seem to run into areas where I had no problem before, now all of a sudden I'm not doing any kind of damage so.

I have come a cross a very easy trick to level illusion very fast that I see you did not include in your video, so I thought I would share it. This can be done from levek 15 illusion all the way to 100 in about an hour. It is very fast for early levels and helps a lot. If you get the spell muffle and walk around constantly casting it it will level you up very fast. Keep in mimd that you have to keep walking other wise it wont level you. Hope I helped :-)
