Thank you for showing me your frugal ways. Because of you I am eating for free! I just put up a free beautiful juicy melon. I am cautnow because of the heat with some items. My freezer is full of breads and veggies. Lots of free eggs in my fridge. My yard is full of beautiful flowering plants. All I did is water them and they came back to life!!

I got lucky at my current job, a nice older gentleman comes by every Thursday to give away free bread. He lets the staff and customers get all they want. I usually load up one large bag and split between my parents and me. The rest of the bread goes to a church pantry, no worries he loads up the flatbed in his truck. There's a mountain of bread left even when he leaves for the church. The rest of the food stuffs are from dumpster diving. 😊
So, so lovely to hear all the birds in the background chirping away . . . . . . . as long as it's not those big turkey vultures waiting to get frugal daddy!!!!!!!

In our area, many stores have security tags on all of thier high value meats and sea foods. The number of high value meats have increased as well at thier value with respect to tags but, tagging began by the end of the 1990's.

It's like all the milk that gets thrown out, farmers get little for a 2ltr $00.20 England 12p & to think how much it costs to feed & look after them. It's the same with all the food thrown out, bakery, fruit and vegetables and other things. So much for saving the planet and environment.

Because of rising prices alot of companies are putting security tags on meats. There are reports of people actually walking out with grocery carts full of groceries, majority of which are meats.
Magnum bars are sorta the cream de la crem of the chocolate bars. Better, thicker coating and higher fat content ice cream. The result is they handle getting warm better than most bars too.
I'd be canning beef stew with all the beef! Bet your flowers come back. They are pretty forgiving. Rescued some really dead looking tomato plants and they are thriving and 2 feet tall!

But I googled it so I got these info: Magnum products are thoughtfully sourced and crafted from the world's highest quality ingredients and made with Belgian chocolate. Not exactly the answers I was looking for but I guess because its more special and also expensive. It's really expensive here in my country.

Actually, In Regards To The Hydrangeas… Their Lower Stems Looked A Little Brown & Thin!!??🤔… So I’d Do The Scratch Test On The Brown Bark… To See If They’re Dying From The Bottom Up??🤔😒…. But As For The Green Stems, Higher Up… You Can Dip In A Little Root Tone Powder, Pre-Make Your Holes In Some Moist Potting Mix Or The Moist Ground Where You Want Them… And Keep Soil Moist Until Well Rooted!!💖🤗…. As They Are Usually Extremely Easy To Propagate!!💖🤗…. Good Luck With Them…. And Thanks For Sharing!!🤗😍😉
Again I say I am so glad you are prepping. When the dumpsters are locked you will have something to fall back on. It isn't the stores fault when this happens. It is just the insanity of the government and all their new regulations.
sometimes they seal just by putting something hot in them. Most of the time you will hear a pop..make sure you have a good full or or 2 cover water. The rinds you can make a new brine with less vinegar and some sugar or honey dump out half the liquids to cut the sour a few days before you eat them. keep in fridge. Keep experimenting. You'll have your successes that you'll wanna make year after year. Don't forget to journal.

By the way frugal mummy if your soil in the pots or even parts of the garden becomes water repellent aka water goes straight through and doesn’t soak up, i use a little bit of dish soap in the water. Pot plants i fill a bucket with the mix put the whole thing, pot with the plant, submerged and leave for an hour or two and then the plant soak’s the water up. Saves buying expensive stuff from the shops. Hope this helps you save the plants. Anyway take care guys and thank you for sharing 👍👏❤️🌈
@@freakinfrugal5268 you only use say a 5drops in a bucket of water. The soil gets a coating on it and it won’t absorb water and the soap gets it off. Your garden centre should sell stuff for the lawns and plants but i learned in horticulture school that you can cheat with dish soap. You submerge hold under till it stops bubbling or floating leave for 30 minutes take out and let it drain and then water well with clean water. Overhear we have seasol with what they call a soil wetter aka dish soap. Being frugal it’s darn expensive and you should only have to do it once, with the dish soap. You can also make a spray bottle of a little bit of cooking oil, 5 drops of dish soap and warm water shake and spray those pesky aphids and some other bugs too. It doesn’t hurt them as long as you give them a clean water rinse. Hope this helps as I’ve used it myself with great success and it costs less than buying the stuff from the nursery. The heat in Australia dries out the soil very much and rather than keep watering two or three times a day i water at night also think about putting some straw around your plants in the pots and ground as it helps keep the moisture in the ground and sometimes stops the bug’s eating your produce . Crushed egg shells are good too put a barrier around plants that the slugs and snails can’t slide across them as its too sharp plus it’s good for the soil when it breaks down, also the water you boil your eggs in as long as there’s no salt or vinegar in it is great for plants as well . Hope this helps. ❤️❤️🌾💐

15lbs of carrots dehydrated fills a 1/2 gallons mason jar. I cut them in thick carrots sticks.

I found birthday wrapping paper by the curb in the neighborhood, along with gift bags.( My first curbside pick)
