    Great, great video and a beautifully precise display. As has been said below, you’re just so ahead of the aircraft and it’s lovely to watch. I watched the cinematic version of your display as well. Hope you know that your work is noted and appreciated. 🤗

    • @cgaviator
      @cgaviator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! Mostly it depends on your own preference. Haven’t flown the 339 for a while. Hawk comes with T1A and external stores (if you buy from their website). Slightly deeper simulation. But both are fun!

    Hi, love the videos, as a real pilot, how do you find the accuracy of MSFS? Keep up the great content 👍😎

    • @cgaviator
      @cgaviator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks. And it’s ok-ish! Distance time and speed including TAS IAS relationship is spot in! Though I find that the aircraft wobble around much more than irl and there is very limited realism in the stall and spin. It’s far too binary and they haven’t figured swept and straight wing differences.

    • @oli4330
      @oli4330 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cgaviator that's good to know, thanks for the reply. Hopefully they can rectify the other little bits to make it even more realistic in future 😁

  • @fuzzywun
    @fuzzywun 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Awesome! Can I ask if you used to display the real one? Having spent a lifetime flying straight and level with the autopilot engaged (Modestly - I am REALLY good at that providing the A/P is serviceable), I am truly lost in admiration. Have just started flight simming in my dotage......

    • @cgaviator
      @cgaviator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly not, never had the opportunity! Hopefully in future I’ll be able to display something!

  • @ricardoroberto100
    @ricardoroberto100 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nicely done. Sadly flying over the crowd was banned years ago but at least simulators still allow it !

    • @cgaviator
      @cgaviator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not so, I’m fairly sure the Reds are permitted to do it still?

    • @ricardoroberto100
      @ricardoroberto100 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cgaviator They may be able to initially approach over the crowd but there are specific rules about separation which is why displays are now from the sides and in front of the crowd at minimum heights. It's highly regulated but sadly makes for a less impressive display in the case of single plane displays. I am comparing the displays of the 80s and 90s with today of course

    Hey i have a question mate, what is the maximum age for me to be able to join the Canadian Air force for a pilot slot? I will only be finishing my university degree at 29 i wonder if that is too late to begin training for my wings, i know US maximum age to start is 33 but i cannot find any info for Canada. Just wondering if you have any insight on the topic any help is much appreciated. (side note, i will have my PPL finsihed before i apply)

    • @cgaviator
      @cgaviator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No idea I’m afraid. That will only be on their recruitment website surely? Or a call to the recruitment office. Sometimes you can join as something else then transfer to the pilot branch.

    Showing your R.A.F. Colours there,way beyond my skill level(what skill?).I flew from London city to valley last night after watching your demo.I tried the MB339 but that did a CTD so had to go with one of the air race jets.Just a straight line route,no deviations.
