I'm not really a fan of country---I'm a grunge/punk fan but when this first came out... the best thing my sister (a country fan) ever did for me was introducing me to Miranda Lambert! She's awesome! Her songwriting is fantastic! I've been following her music ever since! Thanks sis!
Honestly idk what it is about her but her style of song writing and sound is very rock country and then her appearance is kinda southern grunge so ive always loved her. I'm personally a punk and folk fan myself

ugh I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is to be in an abusive relationship with kids. (not firsthand) but my mom has been emotionally and verbally as well as financially abused by my dad for 22 years. She can't bring herself to leave him. Now that me and my brother are older (i'm 21, he's 16) she's thinking more about it. Abusive relationships take your soul away. I've never seen my mom so depressed about it before. My dad is a good father just a lousy husband. I sincerely hope you can get out of that awful situation soon. Please know there is a way out. People can help you. My mom's biggest fear is not being able to live on her own (my dad pays all the bills) but I tell her there are people who can help with things like that. Best of luck my dear.
