    I have one of these and it is a blast to fly! Flying this was so foreign to me that I started off with it facing out from me and just trying to fly it in a box and keep the hover steady. Just that isn't easy! I still only fly this in wide open fields. The light on the front is super bright and I use it to maintain orientation.
    Flying this teaches you some of the mechanics of how a drone flies. The left stick isn't an elevation control, it's a throttle. Pitch the drone forward to go forward and the drone will start to dip unless you push up on the left stick (give it some throttle). Let go of the right stick and let it sit, it will start gaining altitude until you back off the left stick some (lay off the throttle a bit). Drones with altitude hold will do all of that automatically for you. It teaches you to fly with small adjustments and flying becomes a constant dance between the two sticks even if you fly at the same altitude.

      Yes, it is very different because other drones make it so easy, this one makes you really think! Which makes you a better pilot over all

    Bugs3 was my second drone. My first was a short lived Chinese drone, that had hover in place capability and a 72P camera. Neither had GPS and the Bugs3 doesn't hover in place by itself. I LOVED the Bugs3 and it really trained me for eventually get the DJI Drones, the Spark, Air, Mini2 and M2P. I learned how to NOT crash, and the Bugs3 got crashed a lot. It also has the most musically satisfying motors out there. I'm amazed how some have really mastered the Bugs 3 with GoPo cameras and precision trained stick flying. I sold it to a newbie and he loves it too.

    Nice review on the Blue Bugs 3 Drone. James, I’m still on my learners. Lol. I haven’t been flying my drones lately, just too hot 🥵. I really need to get out & fly as soon as it cools down some. We really have some great sunsets here in the Ozarks! Hopefully I’ll get some good video of our sunsets & send them to you.. keep on flying!! Tim

    JJRC H36 and Eachine E010 are to FPV drones, what the HS210 is to Camera Drones. It's good to get used to deadsticks. I have had more fun with the H36 than I've had with the HS510, a really nice GPS camera drone. To be fair, it's less to worry about a $20 drone than a $200+ drone.

      I just noticed that right before I made the video, there is a shortage of materials right now in China, hopefully it will be back soon. That’s why I showed it’s available at Walmart with two batteries. Even though the price on Amazon is quite a deal. Thanks for watching!

    How is it a beginner FPV drone when it doesnt even have FPV capabilities (FPV camera+screen/goggles)?

    • @b4ugo
      @b4ugo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because it has a left dead stick just like a FPV, thats the hardest thing to learn if you have been flying camera drones.
