- I've been shooting with the X100V for about a month now and really been enjoying it. This is my last photography POV video in the area I lived in Philadelphia. I've now moved to Colorado Springs where I guess I'll be starting new photography projects. I'll still be back in Philly from time to time and I'll keep photographing there whenever I can.

Thank you for posting while you’re so busy right now. I really needed your chill videos right now
Thanks, Angel! I don't feel too chill on the inside :/ I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
The Liam Gordon I bet! I’ve pretty much been a ball of anxiety recently. Hopefully you get some time to relax soon.
@@Thatonegirl989 Hope you get to relax too. Stay safe!
Thanks Liam, really enjoy your neighbourhood photowalks. Good luck with the move and please share Colorado with us when you get there.
Thanks Geoff. We’re here now. I might have to try some landscape photography out here. It’s beautiful!
I'm glad you're doing okay. I hope to see where you are in Colorado and all the scenery and streets in the future.
Thanks Max! Stay safe mate. There will definitely be some videos to make in the mountains. It’s lovely out here!
I never really shoot street photography since I live in a small mountain town. Your videos have gotten me a bit more interested in it. Welcome to Colorado! It's a beautiful state to call home!
Envision Adventure Thank you! We’re excited to be here. It’s definitely harder to shoot street in smaller places so I get why people don’t do it as much. Even smaller cities are pretty hard, I think.
Thanks for sharing. Good luck and all the best with the move.
Thank you kindly :)
Thanks Liam
Thank you, Hans!
Good luck with your move to Colorado. Looking forward to the next one
Thank you kindly :) hopefully not such a big gap between the next one.
Very instructive video indeed. Thanks Mate!🙏🏼
Chimay blue Thanks, I appreciate it 🙏
Saw your comment on Sean Tucker TH-cam video. I live in Philly! I'm upset I found your channel late now.
Haha sorry, mate. My wife’s family is just outside Philly. I plan to bank a few street videos whenever I’m back 👍
Nice shots Liam, I’m looking forward to your new project(s). Don't tell me that you moved to Colorado because you found a better bakery (LOL). I wish you the best, stay safe.
I’m too scared to go into any bakery just now. But the mountains are in my back yard so it’s a good trade off :)
Looking forward to your future content... best wishes on move and next venture
ROBIN CHUN Thanks, Robin. I’m gonna miss the busier streets but I’m enjoying the proximity to the mountains and more relaxed roads so far
Great channel my friend!! Will work my way trough your videos :)
Thanks Bastian! Hoping to get back to my weekly schedule soon. Had a bit of a break while moving house.
@@TheLiamGordon good success with getting back on track and the new place🙌
I just learned about you and I've live in this neighborhood for 6 years, by the wiss-cook school. I know a lot of the tenants of the places you took pictures of, ha. I miss Lisa's breakfast. Natural Touch (Deidre's) is closed for good, unfortunately. The resident between those two buildings does not like their picture taken. I took my scabies infested clothes to that laundromat years ago (we're good now). I had no idea they closed, makes sense, ugh. Good luck in Colorado neighbor.
Hi Ivan! I'm glad you commented. I lived in the area for about 3.5 years. I wish I'd had the sense to photograph it the whole time I was there. It's a good little neighborhood. It's still kind of a hidden gem I think. Yeah, that laundromat had some sort of demolition notice on the window too. I don't know if that means they're changing the inside or trying to knock down the whole thing.
👀 Good luck on your move.
Cheers, John!
I have an Xt2 with 18-55 and I was wondering if you like the x100V better and if so if you could share your reasonings.
Thanks in advance.
The XT2 and 18-55 are great and you can do more with it than the X100V. I've come to love the X100V for street photography specifically. It's not necessarily a better camera, I just like its quiet shutter and slimmer profile. It gives me a little more confidence to get really close to people.
But thats just me and I'd trade the X100V in a heartbeat for a Leica. Several of my favorite street photographers, including Gustavo Minas, uses an xt2 +18-55 and his work is infinitely better than mine. So if you're not sure, I'd say stick with what you have. It's a great setup :)
@@TheLiamGordon Thank you!
which film simulation did you use in these photos, Liam?
Great question. I don’t really remember 🤦🏻♂️ it was most likely classic chrome. Or it may have just been edited from raw files. Sorry I don’t have the exact answer :(
@@TheLiamGordon Thanks for the answer. I really loved the tones (:
@@herickbeira thanks, Herick :)
