I am dancing in my kitchen while I watch and listen to this. Kudos to the little guy in the green shirt who is jamming with the trombone player. This unfolded beautifully. What fun! Also, kudos to the little guy in the blue shirt playing the rhythm block. And the bongo player in the orange shirt. Community Arts introduction at its finest. Great work folks.
The little one in the PPE green will NO DOUBT be a musician! Thank goodness for his parents. We need more musicians!. This should be shared and loved World Wide!
Made me smile too. It is so wonderful to see such talented wonderful young adults having such fun with this! Love to have seen this in person but this is a extremely close second! It is the main reason I think Utube is the very best, hands down! Utube brings us so much…….such diversified topics & subjects……musical moments, funny pranks, great acts from the past & thousands of other, different experiences, that we otherwise would not see, if not for UTUBE! This blog/video is the best too! Thank-you to them both! Utube…” YOU ARE THE VERY BEST!”♥️
Speaking as a bass player… how? Also, one big advantage of using horns is they all carry similarly. I’ve played gigs outside where I couldn’t be heard and ones where my sound was just plain booming through everything and practically all you could hear was the bass.
Loved the little dancer and the trombonist who knelt down to be at his level. And the way they all just worked around their little fan to play trombone without hitting him in the head. He wasn’t in the way, he was part of the event. He’s got the music in him.
It is “talents that these sweet gifted children have & music 🎼 that has been sent from God!” I so love this music 🎶 & this video! It is fun to listen to & watch! I so love Utube also!! Utube is extraordinary!
So fantastic. What a festival experience. Really appreciate the consistency of the 1st performer who maintains his beat from the beginning. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I like to see more of flash mob to come back to their wonderful performances. They cheer me up when I see their videos. Please come back when the covid-19 pandemic will be over with.
Great to watch and listen but these people with their cameras need to realise there are other people trying to enjoy the entertainment the young boy was so in touch with the music.
Boy! That drummer has a heck of a strong back and my back hurts just watching him. Great job from all! To the mancub in the red hat, Always dance like no one is watching.
And when exactly are you gonna hear them😂. Me as a trombonist(whatever if this word exists) I can say that I play solo louder than our orchetra's violins flutes and stuff🤷
Wonderful to see and here thank god for music Qunincy Jones classic groove well played what a buzz cheered me right up after some of the crap in the world today
I absolutely love the way in which this piece builds gradually as the different musicians arrive one by one and start playing their parts as if by accident, coincidence, improvisation, or synchronicity. I'm part of a choral ensemble which is scheduled to begin rehearsing an a cappella/vocalese version of "Soul Bossa Nova" this season and I'm hoping that I can convince a few other members to participate in performing it somewhere as a flash mob (although it won't be quite like this).
I appreciate some of those parents moving their kids, noticing something was happening and growing. It looks like a couple of adults could have used some parenting too.
I appreciate that the performers interacted with the kids and helped them feel like part of it, instead of excluding them. Seems like they had great parenting growing up.
Heading says “Stare Miasto”. Generally, that’s true. Precisely, it’s “Rynek Nowego Miasta” in Warsaw. I was pleasantly surprised to see this place in this video. When I was young in the 70s, my family run the restaurant in the background (Boruta). It looks like the restaurant still has that name as evidenced by the name of the restaurant on the umbrellas…
Mad respect for the drummer. That must've been hell on his back.
It's ok, it's his bag, baby.
His wife is physiotherapist - hopefully!
Yes I noticed right away . But this event is a Joyful one look at the kids! Good to watch and listen to talented people that give joy to our lives!
Drummer are always bent over.
My thought exactly.
Who else expected Austin Powers to burst onto the scene here? Yeah, baby, yeah!
The little dude, in the yellow shirt & red hat, totally gets it...
Heh yep ! He's gonna grow-up and become a star music *Conductor* ..!
Now, why am I thinking about International Spy Austin Powers? Yeah, babay!!!
The guy on the drum is a MACHINE!! The kid in the red hat is all over it. ❣️
Groovy, baby!
That little kid in the neon green will never forget that moment! I’m glad this was captured for him to look back on. Stay groovy young man 🕺🏼
So beautiful......the music, the town plaza, the people.............one day in paradise
I love people watching.
My back hurts bending over to do dishes. Respect for the drummer.
Give the drummer some. Lovely to watch. Thank you, Quincy Jones
The kid in the green shirt and red hat steals the show, but I also love the discreet fingertip dance at the far left of the screen at 8:28.
I agree! He's up there totally living his best life in the moment!
Thank you for pointing that out - I would have missed that altogether!
I miss flash mobs. I SOOOOO wish they'd come back!!!!
Me too!!!
I would love to see one. ❤
I reckon Quincy saw this, and it gave him the biggest smile. An astonishing life in music. Rest in peace Mr Jones, Bravo!

Loved it, the little boy in the red hat was such an added bonus, his love of the music was evident & contagious.
I was chuckling by the end. His enthusiasm made my heart happy!
The little one in the PPE green will NO DOUBT be a musician! Thank goodness for his parents. We need more musicians!. This should be shared and loved World Wide!
@@No1Foghead , this little one will be a dancer -- nobody dances, exept him! It's so pity...
He is the conductor in the future
He is amazing, we'll see more of him in future music
This totally made me smile! Love that there are kids having a wonderful time with this!

It's a happy quirky little Diddy..
Austin Powers would be proud..Yeah Baby!
Yeaaa Baby!
one billion years later the drummer is found in the same spot, doing what he does best. groooovvvvyyyyyy, man.
Love seeing the children enjoying themselves!
Great to hear people having fun with Quincy Jones’s 1962 ‘Soul Bossa Nova.’ A classic!
WOW, that drummer is spectacular, my dad was a drummer and I know he is having a ball listening to this above.💕🥁
They could have used a bass guitarist...
Speaking as a bass player… how? Also, one big advantage of using horns is they all carry similarly. I’ve played gigs outside where I couldn’t be heard and ones where my sound was just plain booming through everything and practically all you could hear was the bass.
yes, and 60 years ago.
Loved the little lad in bright shirt.. he got the beat 💝
Non stop full of the kid energy I lost years ago. ☺️
Bravo! Super! The little guy with the red hat , what a great musician and performer! God bless from Canada.
Loved the little dancer and the trombonist who knelt down to be at his level. And the way they all just worked around their little fan to play trombone without hitting him in the head. He wasn’t in the way, he was part of the event. He’s got the music in him.
He’s doing the Austin Powers Street dance 🕺
Grande strumentalizzazione... bellissimo tempo!!!!! Mi piace molto!! Molte grazie dal mare di Gabicce italia..... ciao!!!
Austin Powers song!!! Love it!!!
Music… God sent.. what talent. Music draws people together. How beautiful to see brass instruments come together ❤️❤️
It is “talents that these sweet gifted children have & music 🎼 that has been sent from God!” I so love this music 🎶 & this video! It is fun to listen to & watch! I so love Utube also!! Utube is extraordinary!
Ah, People Power; And a future little Michael Jackson in the yellow shirt, yes? Thank God for the music!
Love the child in the yellow shirt and red cap.

so good to see the kids up there too ... playing along, having fun and being inspired to keep learning instruments
I love how welcomed my he children are!!
What late 60s movie was this music in?
Increibles,excellent talent kids.

And his back!
Piękne. Aż chce się żyć......dziękuję.....
I love the children! We need this kind of joy and levity. Love the brass. Excellent musicians. Thank you for posting.
As a Canadian this Quincy Jones composition will forever be burned into my mind as the theme music to a 70s cheesy game show called Definition.
Was it about boombastic jazz?
Little Dude in the red hat just does not know whatto do with himself! Love it when music affects kids that way!
You nailed it! The joy of music the universal language…. Sometimes you just “Gotta move yo feet!!!!!!! “ ox
This IS my own 'Definition Of A Boombastic Jazz Style'. Totally............
This is not jazz. Is bossa nova, brazilian music.
I love the children dancing around and the band members are so kind.
Ok forever to get going but fun once they did. Love the little kid dancing! Too funny. Quincy Jones, eat your heart out!
Great to watch and listen but these people with their cameras need to realise there are other people trying to enjoy the entertainment the young boy was so in touch with the music.
Love this. Music so lifts the saddest of hearts indeed. Thank you for sharing this with us all. 🌎❤️😊
hats off to the drummer! what an awesome job
Boy! That drummer has a heck of a strong back and my back hurts just watching him. Great job from all! To the mancub in the red hat, Always dance like no one is watching.
Yellow shirted boy with the red hat is the physical manifestation of when a song FEEEEEEEEELS REALLY GOOOOOOOD.
awesome, possums:)
So emotional. The drumer is the best.
Wielkie dzięki! Po raz pierwszy usłyszał Bossa Jonesa w 1966 roku.
Uma sociedade avançada, preza por seus valores.
Ver o guri regente, foi um grande exemplo.
Parabéns a todos.

Wow these guys are actually musicians Love it!
That Kid in the Lime Green shirt nailed it 👌
He was grooving
he has lots of Mojo.
He's the conductor?
This song is difficult to arrange. And this well done live in public. Thump up!
Needed some woodwinds and flutes in there too.... but really, this was fun to watch.
TDI CharlieBrown flute is woodwind
No you don’t.
Yeah, they couldn’t have found a flutte player?
And when exactly are you gonna hear them😂. Me as a trombonist(whatever if this word exists) I can say that I play solo louder than our orchetra's violins flutes and stuff🤷
@@shooterxc373 Trombonist, tromborina, tromboner :P I like "out of tune horn player" but that's nonspecific and wildly redundant :D
BEAUTIFUL GRITTY SOULFUL MUSIC !!!
That drummer's back gotta hurt...
Sagi K. Wouldn't kill him to use a chair, was not thoughtful to stand.
I can ask him...:)
Actually his back got broken!
For real though. Get the man a stool or something! 😂

The increase from instrument to instrument of the time gives the whole setup a nice faire. And the young Conductor in green is the best …
At least someone danced! I wouldn't have been able to help myself, if I were there! Thanks for bringing joy!
Wow that was marvelous! That child in the lime green was great!
I love it....I keep expecting Austin Powers and the dancers to pop out lol
Loved it! Especially the young boy on trombone!
RIP Quincy Jones a giant amongst musicians past, present and future ❤
First flash mob that takes forever, I'm like where is everyone, hurry up!
I feel the same way, see my comment
I felt the same exact way!!! lol! I kept thinking “Why does this seem to be taking so long?” 😂
Flaaaaaaaaash mob
one of the best of the internet - that drummer's lower back must be killing him - cheers from the Delta
