Dan this review got me interested in this board. However, My dealer said he sold these boards and has never seen a tail runner on any of them. Nsp does not show the tail runner on there boards. Why did you get one ?
Thanks, I do this as a user review, because I'm a user, to share my experience. Very happy that you found my review interesting🤗 This was new for me with the tail runner.🤔 I just order a 14x27 NSP o2 race and this is what I got. Tailrunner was nothing I order. I have no experience with NSP and knowledge beside paddling this board for two months. So you need to ask NSP about that. Compared to Starboard boards that I been paddling for some years, there are not so much information on internet and nsp is not so informative about there board on their website. Me and my wife love this nsp o2 race board and have order on more. We will get it in spring. So around 6 month from now. I think the tail runner do a great job, so it would be nice to have that on all o2 race boards.🙌
Thanks for quick reply. My dealer emailed NSP HQ today about this. He has 2 boards available but both do not have the tail runner. Because of you I am very interested in this board. Cameron
@@camma-p1w you seem to have a great and interested dealer! I guess it will paddle good without the tail runner. It’s a narrow tail. I know some brand have had problem with release even on pin tail. How o2 race is I don’t know, with tail runner it’s really good. A company never know what will happen to a board they sell. So if my board is kind of an experiment and nsp decided to sell. Well than Nsp have a hard time when I paddle it and people will see the tail runner on TH-cam, just like you did. I hope it sort it out for you. Otherwise, ask for a demo paddle. It might be very good even without a tail runner!
Ola @@camma-p1w - our Head of Racing R&D, Alain Teurquetil determined the lip wasn't adding the performance we intended so in the next version of the Race FSL we took it off. I hope that helps 🙂
