Best water craft for families, kids can’t climb in and out of canoe, kayak or boat as easily as a SUP, they just love jumping in, swimming round and climbing back on. A ISUP has been the best value family fun item we have ever brought. Wether it’s the canals of Birmingham City Center or the rivers and lakes of North Wales it’s just endless outdoor fun.
I couldn’t agree more! 🙌🏼 I’ve kayaked throughout my life as well but much more freedom and diversity with a SUP! 🏄🏼♂️ Also lighter in weight for kids to carry and control!
Yes, do it!! We were renting SUP boards during a whole season in 2017 and then ended up buying the boards end of that seasons. Hi Mat, in average how many degrees is the water (canals and lakes) around this time (June) in The Netherlads? Thanks. I haven't done this ever, recently bought my board and life vest buy i don't know if I should also invest on wetsuit and how thick and long it should be. Whats your recommendation. Thanks! I enjoyed your video 😊
Hey I don’t live there but had a quick search online looks like canals in Amsterdam average around 14 degrees C in June! ☀️ Oh nice you’ll be in for a good fun summer then! 🏄🏼♂️ Id recommend investing in one, especially if you want to use your board for more months of the year or on colder days! (A decent one will last you a good few years!) Summer, you want a thinner one (3mm) and winter a thicker one (5mm). Personal preference on the length but the longer ones will keep you warmer. Wetsuits will also add buoyancy if you do fall in 🛟 But up to you, on the really warm days I don’t wear a wetsuit as get too sweaty! Maybe try a summer one and if you want to paddle in the winter look at getting one later in the year!? Thanks, glad you liked it! 🙌🏼🏄🏼♂️
